Correction:

In the February 20, 2016 article Tofte announces plans to commemorate John Nelson, it was reported that Brooke Youngdahl would be paid $1,000 to coordinate the township’s July 4th fireworks. She will be paid $1,350. Also, the room leased by the Birch Grove Community School will be used for special education activities/meetings, not youth hostel activities. The Cook County News-Herald apologizes for the errors.
