In the July 18 article New hires, new vehicles for Sheriff’s Office, it was reported that the county board approved hiring a public safety technology specialist and the part-time dispatcher. The county board actually approved the job classification for the public safety technology specialist. Sheriff Pat Eliasen will be asking the board to authorize both positions at the July 28 commissioners’ meeting. The News-Herald apologizes for any confusion this may have caused.
