CORRECTION:

In the May 30 article entitled Lobbying Efforts Pay Off for Cook County, the News- Herald mistakenly referred to John Muus as the Cook County Tennis Association president. While Mr. Muus is a past president, the current president is Gene Glader. Also, while the article said landscaping on the tennis court improvement project was designed with the help of Extension Director Diane Booth and area Master Gardeners, the design was not a Master Gardener project. Assistance came from Booth and one Master Gardener: Joan Abrahamson. TheNews- Herald apologizes for the error.
