Veteran’s Day is here. A time to celebrate current and past veterans for their service and sacrifice to the country. Below is an article Melvin Gagnon found in his mother Emma’s photo album that Melvin thought appropriate to reprint in honor of Veteran’s Day. We agree. If you are from Cook County, you will recognize the names of the young men who were serving their country during World War ll.
