Cook County Sheriff reports theft of four snowmobiles

Imagine Robert Tomczak’s surprise when he found the lock to his snowmobile trailer had been cut and his four snowmobiles, a chainsaw and two gas cans had gone missing.

Tomczak had parked his trailer on South Fowl Road and checked the contents on February 12. The Carlton, Minnesota man reported the theft to the Cook County Law Enforcement dispatch on February 17.

According to the dispatch report, Tomczak said there were no tracks leading to or from his trailer.

Missing are a 2012 Red Polaris S/B Pro R (800 cc); 2013 Black Polaris Switchback (800 cc), 2023 Skidoo Expedition (Ace 900 engine), and a 2010 Black Polaris Rush (600 cc).
