Cook County Government is soliciting applications for membership in a new citizen advisory committee. The Facilities Community Advisory Committee will provide input regarding the development of a new capital improvement plan for the county, as well as issues related to ongoing building and property maintenance.
Four seats on the committee are available to interested county residents. Those with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply: *Architecture and facilities planning *Commercial building construction *Facilities maintenance *Capital planning
Other members of the committee will include a county commissioner, the county administrator, auditor/ treasurer and director of maintenance. The first meeting of the committee is expected to take place in June, and the group will meet monthly.
