12:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Door damage at a storage unit was determined to have been caused by a storm.

4:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a vehicle near mile marker 84.

9:02 a.m., Grand Marais: Thunder Bay man, 71, cited for speeding.

7:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outage referred to REA.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

2:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to settle a disagreement between two housemates. The issue was resolved; the roommate moved out

Thursday, Dec. 2

8:44 a.m., Grand Portage: Assault investigation.

6:24 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of debit card fraud.

8:44 p.m., Grand Marais: North St. Paul man, 50, cited for speeding.

10:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Grand Marais woman, 36, cited for expired tabs.

Friday, Dec. 3

2:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted Duluth Police Department with an investigation into a suspicious vehicle that was parked in Duluth, but registered to a Grand Marais resident.

7:45 a.m., Lutsen: Caller on Caps Trail reported that his heat was not working, and it was 40 degrees in the place.

10:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to remove an unwanted person.

4:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Dead deer reported in the middle of the highway between mile markers 76 and 77.

5:41 p.m., Grand Marais: A woman trying to leave the courthouse to get to her car said there was a big dog outside, growling and preventing her from leaving. Deputy assistance requested.

7:37 p.m., Grand Marais: Injured deer on County Road 7.

1:33 a.m., Grand Marais: Loud

party reported. The caller suspected underage drinking was going on.

1:54 a.m., Grand Marais: Hovland man, 49, arrested for driving while intoxicated. 2:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a vehicle traveling through Lake County at 100 mph, heading into Cook County. A deputy stopped the vehicle at the scene of a car-deer collision; the vehicle also hit an Adopt-AHighway sign at mile marker 74. The driver admitted to speeding and a tow truck was called.

9:29 a.m., Lutsen: A logging truck hit a power pole on the Caribou Trail.

10:38 a.m., Lutsen: Traffic control requested on the Caribou Trail after a vehicle went into the ditch.

10:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Hitand run damage reported to a vehicle that was parked on First Street.

12:02 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued to a Thunder Bay man, 50.

1:25 p.m., Tofte: AmericInn requested a deputy for a man who has been acting “increasingly weird” throughout the day, and going into places for employees only. A deputy transported him to the hospital for evaluation.

Sunday, Dec. 5

12:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Tow truck requested for a car in the ditch south of Trout Lake on the Gunflint Trail.

6:35 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of threats and harassment.

6:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Thunder Bay man, 44, cited for speeding.

7:23 p.m., Grand Marais: Thunder Bay man, 45, cited for speeding.
