Thursday, Oct. 17
2:19 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint regarding semis parked in
the dirt lot across the highway from Johnson’s on Highway 61. A
deputy spoke with the drivers; no city ordinance was violated.
5:57 a.m., Grand Marais: ATV patrol.
7:24 a.m., Grand Marais: Motor vehicle accident on East Highway
61.
9:20 a.m., Grand Marais: A dead wolf was found in the ditch on
East Highway 61.
10:37 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic complaint on West Highway 61.
5:17 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller lost his keys somewhere in Grand
Marais within the past week.
5:25 p.m., Grand Portage: Damage to property reported on Eliza
Road. A basement window was broken.
8:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Animal disturbance on East Third Street.
A small springer spaniel was running loose near Harbor View
Apartments.
9:03 p.m., Grand Marais: Motor vehicle accident with an animal on
Gunflint Trail.
9:24 p.m., Grand Portage: Juvenile trouble on Margarets Road.
Friday, Oct. 18
2:35 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted another agency.
5:55 a.m., Grand Marais: ATV patrol.
9:29 a.m., Grand Marais: Damage to property reported.
10:23 a.m., Grand Marais: Phone fraud attempt reported.
11:09 a.m., Grand Marais: Automatic fire alarm on West Highway
61 was false; all units cancelled.
11:28 a.m., Grand Marais: Fraud attempted.
9:26 p.m., Grand Marais: A loose dog on East Highway 61 was
captured and returned to its owner.
11:00 p.m., Grand Portage: Traffic complaint on Townsite Road.
11:07 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of suspicious activity/trespassing
on Sixth Avenue West.
11:56 p.m., Grand Marais: Loud party complaint.
Saturday, Oct. 19
8:57 a.m., Schroeder: Medical call (diabetic in distress).
9:28 a.m., Grand Marais: Damage to a vehicle reported; the caller’s
car was “keyed.”
9:40 a.m., Grand Marais: Animal disturbance on East Highway 61.
11:17 a.m., Grand Marais: A wallet was found on First Avenue
West.
11:36 a.m., Hovland: Disturbance reported on Chicago Bay Road.
11:41 a.m., Lutsen: Medical call (person passed out) on Ski Hill
Road.
3:00 p.m., Tofte: Motor vehicle accident reported on Sawbill Trail.
3:26 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic disturbance (verbal) reported.
3:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Loose dog on the beach was picked up by
her owner.
10:07 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy dispatched an injured deer on
East Highway 61.
10:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Medical call (fall victim) on Eighth
Avenue West.
Sunday, Oct. 20
9:10 a.m., Lutsen: Graffiti spotted on Ski Hill Road.
11:19 a.m., Grand Marais: Keys lost on Wisconsin Street.
12:25 p.m., Grand Portage: Medical call (trouble breathing) on Bay
Road.
1:57 p.m., Grand Marais: A wallet was found and returned.
3:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Two men stopped in the Law
Enforcement Center and wanted to talk about somebody who was
selling drugs.
4:04 p.m., Grand Marais: Damage to a vehicle reported on Romans
Road.
6:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Loose dog reported on School House
Road.
