12:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Domestic disturbance reported.
9:30 a.m., Grand Portage: A hold-up alarm on Mile Creek Road
was cancelled.
10:44 a.m., Grand Marais: Medical call on Fox Ridge.
11:30 a.m., Grand Marais: A deer was struck by a vehicle on Durfee
Road. Both the deer and the driver were injured.
11:43 a.m., Grand Marais: Motor vehicle accident reported on East
First Street.
12:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Property lost/found on Fifth Avenue
West.
12:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Fraud reported. The caller said
somebody kept calling and trying to get her Social Security
number.
1:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a truck pulling a trailer
with three canoes and one canoe in the bed doesn’t look safe for
highway travel.
1:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic disturbance that happened in
September was reported.
2:24 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a man with a camo backpack
punched and screamed at the dog because it pooped. The man
then became irate and challenged others to a fight before taking off
on a bike from the area of Java Moose.
4:44 p.m., Lutsen: Report of shots fired on Evergreen Road.
6:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Public assist on South Broadway.
8:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Public assist (car trouble) on Lindskog
Road.
9:34 p.m., Lutsen: Medical call at Lutsen Resort. A man passed out
and hit the dance floor; he was taken to the North Shore Hospital.
9:43 p.m., Hovland: Suspicious activity reported on Arrowhead
Trail. Campers said they saw two men matching the description of
the men being sought in Canada.
9:59 p.m., Lutsen: Medical call (broken ankle) at Lutsen Resort.
11:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Loud music complaint on West First
Street.
Sunday, July 28
3:33 a.m., Lutsen: Personal injury accident reported on West
Highway 61. A truck ran into the guardrail and was jammed. A
24-year-old man was injured and found lying on the ground with
head injuries.
10:36 a.m., Grand Marais: Medical call for a 2-year-old boy who
fell into the campfire coals and suffered third-degree burns on his
hands and feet. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
11:15 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted another agency on West
Highway 61.
12:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Animal disturbance on First Avenue
East.
1:17 p.m., Schroeder: Hazard reported on Cramer Road.
2:04 p.m., Lutsen: Public assist on Hall Road.
2:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic complaint on Gunflint Trail.
4:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy called to an animal disturbance
on Fourth Avenue West.
4:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted another agency on Fifth
Avenue West.
5:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Medical call (diabetic episode) on East
Third Street.
7:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted another agency on East
Highway 61.
