Monday, June 3
7:05 a.m., Lutsen: A missing golf cart was found at Superior
National.
8:19 a.m., Grand Portage: Residence checks requested.
9:52 a.m., Grand Marais: Water craft permits issued.
10:09 a.m., Grand Marais: Automatic fire alarm on First
Avenue West.
10:43 a.m., Grand Marais: Public assist on Gunflint Trail.
10:49 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted another agency.
11:45 a.m., Grand Portage: Deputy called to Casino Drive for
unknown trouble.
12:52 p.m., Grand Portage: Foot patrol at the national
monument.
1:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Welfare check requested on West
Second Street (mental health issue).
6:51 p.m., Grand Marais: Medical call on West Highway 61. A
diabetic person was transported to the hospital.
Tuesday, June 4
8:15 a.m., Lutsen: Report of suspicious activity on Sverre Lane;
there were questions about a family death.
11:04 a.m., Grand Marais: Property lost/found on East
Highway 61.
11:32 a.m., Grand Marais: A wallet was reported lost on
Gunflint Trail.
11:45 a.m., Tofte: Animal welfare check requested on Six
Hundred Road. A dog left in a vehicle was checked, and was
not in distress.
12:19 p.m., Grand Marais: A purse was lost on West Wisconsin
Street.
2:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Hazard reported on Gunflint Trail.
Branches were removed.
3:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Crosswalk enforcement.
9:07 p.m., Grand Marais: Medical call on Gunflint Trail. A
hypothermia patient was transported to the hospital.
Wednesday, June 5
1:05 a.m., Grand Portage: Medical call on Casino Drive. A
person with an injured foot was taken to the hospital.
9:20 a.m., Grand Marais: Land Services was doing an
inspection at 932 Pike Lake Road.
11:13 a.m., Grand Marais: Medical call on Timberwolf Lane. A
COPD patient was taken to the hospital.
11:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Miscellaneous fire call on Gunflint
Trail.
12:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious activity reported on
East Highway 61. A person thought purchase of items was too
expensive.
12:27 p.m., Grand Marais: A suicide threat on County Road
14 ended when the person ran into the woods, and came out
willingly after K9 Eddy was deployed. The person was taken to
the hospital.
2:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Property lost/found on Gunflint Trail.
4:45 p.m., Grand Portage: Public nuisance reported on Casino
Drive. The person was gone upon arrival of the deputy.
4:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there was smoke in the
area of Gunflint Trail.
7:19 p.m., Grand Marais: Medical transport from Fifth Avenue
West.
8:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Phone outage on Sag Lake Trail.
11:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Business checks.
Thursday, June 6
1:09 a.m., Grand Marais: Medical call on Morgan Road. A
diabetic patient was taken to the hospital.
7:36 a.m., Grand Portage: Security alarm on Upper Road was a
false activation.
10:03 a.m., Grand Marais: Driver was cited for speeding on
West Highway 61.
10:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic complaint on Devil Track
Road. A driver was warned for unsafe passing.
10:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Welfare check requested.
1:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Property lost/found on Gunflint Trail.
2:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Drug incident reported.
4:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from South Broadway reported
a hit-and-run with property damage. There are no suspects.
4:33 p.m., Grand Marais: A deputy removed an unwanted
person from the premises.
4:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic complaint on West Highway
61 was determined to be unfounded.
5:17 p.m., Grand Marais: A call regarding an intoxicated
person was referred to State Patrol.
5:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made on an order violation.
7:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made for an OFP violation.
9:51 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of a suspicious vehicle on
Upper Road. No other information was available.
Friday, June 7
3:14 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle prowl on East Third Street. A
suspect wearing a hoodie was seen, but deputies were unable
to locate.
8:32 a.m., Grand Marais: Graffiti (spray paint) reported on
Fifth Avenue West.
9:17 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy was unable to locate an
AMBER Alert vehicle possibly in the area.
10:37 a.m., Hovland: Loose dog seen and reported on North
Road.
12:05 p.m., Grand Portage: Residence check requested.
12:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic complaint on West Highway
61 was referred to State Patrol.
3:07 p.m., Grand Marais: Motor vehicle accident on Fifth
Avenue West resulted in property damage; no injuries were
reported.
3:19 p.m., Tofte: Illegal camping reported on Tofte Park Road.
4:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Parking problem on East First Street
was reported.
9:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there was a parked vehicle
with its headlights left on on West Highway 61.
10:10 p.m., Lutsen: Medical call on Ski Hill Road. A person
with a head injury was transported to the hospital.
10:57 p.m., Grand Portage: Deputy called to remove an
unwanted person from a residence following a family
argument.
11:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Welfare check requested for a
mental health issue.
