Monday, March 29
9:32 a.m., Grand Marais: Speeding citation issued to Grand Marais man, 27.
6:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of an injured wolf near mile marker 70 off the highway.
Tuesday, March 30
8:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Child found safe after not coming home the previous night. A man was arrested for procuring alcohol for a minor.
11:57 a.m., Grand Portage: Report from a homeowner that her front porch was hit sometime overnight.
4:20 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a suspicious vehicle that has been parked on a driveway on County Road 14 for the last four days. Thecaller said it is unknown why the vehicle is there.
8:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Fender-bender reported in the parking lot near the Co-op. A parked vehicle was backed into.
9:09 p.m., Colvill: Woman requested assistance after her husband, who was intoxicated, locked her out of the house. She said she just wanted to get her purse and get out.
Wednesday, March 31
8:10 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about loud rap music and vehicles on the Old Gunflint Trail.
8:28 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about a Border Patrol vehicle that was speeding and passing unsafely near the Spruce Creek area. Border Patrol was notified.
11:33 a.m., Grand Marais: Duluth man, 49, cited for a parking violation.
12:23 p.m., Grand Marais: State Patrol notified of a reported erratic driver on Highway 61. The caller said the driver passed five
vehicles in a no passing zone, forcing
oncoming vehicles into the ditch.

4:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Ambulance requested for a 4-year-old girl who fell out of a moving vehicle.
Thursday, April 1
12:33 a.m., Grand Marais: Report that someone was giving alcohol to minors.
8:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to remove an unwanted person from a residence.
9:42 a.m., Croftville: Report of missing Loritab pills.
3:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Assistance requested to transport a woman who was making suicidal threats to the hospital.
7:12 p.m., Grand Portage: Residence check
requested after the owner believed someone may have been in the home.
7:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Checks requested at the Howlin’ Wolf building by the new owner.
9:39 p.m., Grand Portage: Woman arrested for DUI following a two-vehicle accident near Mount Rose church. The vehicle involved was also seen driving east in the wrong lane near Hovland.
Friday, April 2
12:06 p.m., Grand Portage: Complaint that a person drives 70 mph on Townsite Road all the time. The caller asked that a deputy speak with the person.
1:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that two juvenile males were trying to break into the shed behind DQ. Theyran off when the caller hollered at them.
8:16 p.m., Lutsen: Caller expressed concern about the size of a legal recreational campfire. A deputy was sent to check on it.
10:26 p.m., Grand Portage: Deputy requested at the casino by security because a customer was making them uneasy. He was asking questions about bringing weapons inside.
10:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Wolf struck and killed near mile marker 116. A deputy determined it was an adult male with mange. 10:56 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck at mile marker 137, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
Saturday, April 3
1:18 a.m., Grand Portage: Grand Portage man, 43, arrested for domestic assault and violation of an OFP, and taken to jail and then detox following an incident at a Townsite Road residence.
3:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Thunder Bay woman, 17, cited for following too closely.
4:16 p.m., Tofte: Holiday reported a gas drive-off of $35.08.
4:27 p.m., Tofte: Report that the lead vehicle of a “wide load” convoy was driving erratically and weaving all over the road.
11:20 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of an underage drinking party at a Margaret’s Road residence where the owners were out of town.
Sunday, April 4
1:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to speak with a man about verbal abuse toward a woman.
4:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy investigated a report of a stolen car that was left in the school parking lot with the keys in it, but out of gas. It was later found at the owner’s grandparents’ home.
