11:38 a.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called to the ski hill for a
16-year-old girl with pain in the rib cage area.

3:35 p.m., Grand Portage: Deputy called to the lodge for
a disturbance outside the office.

9:14 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller said there is a strange
man in the house.
9:47 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he received some
threatening text messages from his ex-girlfriend.
2:34 p.m., Tofte: A gun was found in the women’s
restroom at Holiday.
6:24 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outage on Mort
Meadows Road.
7:31 p.m., Grand Marais: A wallet was lost in the co-op
parking lot; the owner left it on top of the car and drove
off.
7:48 p.m., Lutsen: Deer struck by a vehicle.
7:56 p.m., Grand Marais: Reported theft of an Easter
lily and stuffed bunny from the laundry room at Harbor
View Apartments.
9:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
10:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputies called to a fight at
the Wunderbar involving about six guys.
Wednesday, March 28
7:22 a.m., Grand Marais: Inmate transport.
7:49 a.m., Grand Marais: School patrol.
9:23 a.m., Grand Marais: A driver’s license, credit card
and ski pass were found by the harbor.
11:53 a.m., Grand Marais: Computer fraud reported.
2:21 p.m., Grand Marais: A license plate was found in
the snow near Benny’s Collision Center.
10:07 p.m., Tofte: Alarm at Holiday was set off.
Thursday, March 29
6:28 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller said there is an
unknown man in her house.
7:35 a.m., Lutsen: Report of an injured deer in the ditch
near Lutsen Resort.
8:25 a.m., Grand Marais: Parking complaint at the top of
Broadway.
11:32 a.m., Grand Marais: A person tried to fill a
prescription for someone else at the pharmacy.
11:49 a.m., Tofte: Caller said he saw a moose running
around in circles near the highway.
12:49 p.m., Schroeder: Caller said there is an injured
deer near mile marker 78. It’s still alive, but can’t really
move.
4:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Kitchen fire at GunFlint
Tavern.
6:53 p.m., Lutsen: The ambulance struck a deer at mile
marker 89. There was no damage to the vehicle.
Friday, March 30
6:50 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller from East Highway
61 said there has been a big van parked in his driveway
since 4:30 a.m.
9:17 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller from South Shore Drive
reported an Internet outage.
9:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Attempted phone scam.
12:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Drugs were found in a room
at Aspen Lodge.
1:29 p.m., Grand Marais: Burglary reported on Croftville
Road.
4:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a man with a
beard, carrying a suitcase along the highway, is yelling
profanities into the woods and at cars for no reason.
5:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Assault reported at Shoreline
Motel.
6:04 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a vehicle at mile
marker 120.
8:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted a motorist at
the co-op.
Saturday, March 31
1:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
10:49 a.m., Grand Marais: A mailbox on Bow Lake Road
was damaged during the night, possibly by a vehicle.
2:58 p.m., Hovland: A deer was struck near mile marker
131.
3:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch near Moose
Pond Drive-Gunflint Trail.
10:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
Sunday, April 1
11:25 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller was locked out of his
vehicle near mile marker 114.
11:34 a.m., Lutsen: A border collie was missing at
Caribou Highlands.
3:53 p.m., Lutsen: A vehicle was stuck in the turn-around
at Honeymoon Trail-White Pine Lane.
7:13 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at Bluefin Bay.
