Two-vehicle accident at
Temperance River. No
injuries reported.
2:32 p.m., Grand Marais:
Two-vehicle accident in the
parking lot at Harbor View
Apartments. No injuries
reported.
2:52 p.m., Grand Marais:
Caller was concerned about
the welfare of a dog that has
been left outside all day.
6:03 p.m., Grand Marais:
Power outage on Pike Lake
Road.
6:52 p.m., Lutsen: Deer
struck by a vehicle on the
highway near the Sea Villas.
6:57 p.m., Schroeder:
Caller requested that
a deputy check on her
granddaughter.
Friday, Jan. 5
7:41 a.m., Grand Portage:
School patrol.
8:02 a.m., Grand Marais:
False alarm at Dairy Queen.
9:32 a.m., Tofte: Traffic
citation issued.
10:41 a.m., Grand Marais:
Ambulance called to the
Menogyn parking lot to
transport a 57-year-old
woman with a foot fracture.
4:36 p.m., Grand Marais: A
Wisconsin license plate was
found on the Gunflint Trail
and turned in to a state
trooper.
Saturday, Jan. 6
5:34 a.m., Grand Marais:
Accident reported at West
Highway 61-Spruce Creek.
11:35 a.m., Lutsen: Caller
said he couldn’t find a shop
to work on his vehicle.
1:49 p.m., Lutsen:
Ambulance called to the ski
hill for a 54-year-old man
with a leg fracture.
2:15 p.m., Lutsen: Two
plastic dog crates were
found on Ski Hill Road.
4:52 p.m., Grand Marais:
Inmate transport.
8:23 p.m., Grand Marais:
Caller witnessed a man
with a bloody nose at Dairy
Queen.
11:19 p.m., Lutsen: Deputy
called to remove an
unwanted person at Papa
Charlie’s who refused to
leave and was trying to start
fights.
Sunday, Jan. 7
9:13 a.m., Grand Marais:
Break-in reported at Birch
Terrace.
11:29 a.m., Grand Marais:
Vehicle in the ditch off the
Gunflint Trail.
12:01 p.m., Lutsen:
Ambulance called to the ski
hill for a 20-year-old male
who was bleeding from the
mouth.
3:18 p.m., Grand Marais:
Power outage reported on
Third Avenue West.
7:17 p.m., Grand Marais:
Caller from First Avenue
East heard a shot.
10:23 p.m., Grand Marais:
Inmate transport.
Monday, Jan. 8
9:11 a.m., Tofte: False fire
alarm at Bluefin Bay.
10:39 a.m., Tofte: A vehicle
was on its side in the ditch
near Gull Harbor. No
injuries were reported.
11:10 a.m., Grand Marais:
Caller had problems with
the neighbor’s dog coming
into his yard.
2:02 p.m., Grand Marais:
Inmate transport.
3:05 p.m., Grand Marais:
Extra patrols were
requested by the schools
and YMCA because the fire
suppression systems were
down.
3:11 p.m., Grand Marais:
Vehicle in the ditch off
South Gunflint Lake Road.
