Monday, Nov. 27
7:56 a.m., Grand Marais: Safe Routes to School.
7:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller from Voyageurs Point
warned that the public road is dangerously icy.
9:17 a.m., Grand Marais: A former employee abruptly
quit and then left with the business’s property.
11:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle hit a trailer at
Holiday, causing a minor scrape, and left the scene.
3:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported issues with
PayPal and eBay.
4:37 p.m., Schroeder: Deer struck by a vehicle on the
highway.
7:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Possible structure fire
reported on Murmur Creek Road, after a generator
and shed were on fire.
8:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a vehicle near
Isak Hansen’s.
9:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted State Patrol
at Rock Cut.
Tuesday, Nov. 28
7:45 a.m., Grand Marais: Safe Routes to School.
12:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy conducted a DARE
program.
12:43 p.m., Grand Marais: A dachshund escaped its
residence on Seventh Avenue West.
1:05 p.m., Grand Marais: A 2½-foot log was on the fog
line of the Gunflint Trail, creating a hazard.
4:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Tree down on County Road
14 east of Frank’s Way. The caller said there was also
green graffiti on multiple road signs.
5:48 p.m., Hovland: Tree down across the highway
near mile marker 130.
Wednesday, Nov. 29
1:28 a.m., Lutsen: Report of trees down and blocking
the Caribou Trail.
7:11 a.m., Grand Marais: Broadband outage reported.
7:36 a.m., Grand Marais and Grand Portage: School
patrol.
8:08 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller reported coins stolen
from a jar.
9:28 a.m., Lutsen: Report of someone ramming into a
truck at Lutsen Resort.
7:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made on a Cook
County warrant.
7:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Security alarm set off at
Arrowhead Pharmacy.
10:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Security alarm set off at
Dairy Queen.
