12:19 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller said she could hear
someone outside her home and can see a flashlight.
7:06 a.m., Grand Marais: Fraud reported
(unauthorized access to a checking account).
9:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Single-vehicle accident
reported on East Highway 61.
12:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Car in the ditch at Devil
Track Road-Gunflint Trail.
1:27 p.m., Schroeder: Vehicle struck a deer near the
power plant.
2:47 p.m., Lutsen: Complaint about somebody posting
signs for private property and no parking on public
lands.
3:06 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of five horses
without shelter or water on County Road 60
3:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
4:44 p.m., Hovland: An unknown vehicle was parked
in the caller’s driveway.
9:53 p.m., Grand Marais: A male who was involved in
an ATV accident was brought to the hospital.
11:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of icy conditions on
Pike Lake Road.
Sunday, Nov. 5
2:51 a.m., Hovland: Report of a structure fire.
3:25 a.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a vehicle at
Cliff Creek-Highway 61.
10:43 a.m., Grand Marais: The game warden was
notified of reported trespassing on County Road 7.
3:22 p.m., Grand Marais: A person sent out text
messages saying he was going to end his life and has
already taken a bottle of Percocet. He’s in the woods
now.
5:09 p.m., Grand Marais: The red light alarm was
going off near Harbor View Trail.
5:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a dead deer off the
road near the water tower.
Monday, Nov. 6
4:44 a.m., Gunflint Trail: The Truck driver is going
to be transferred to Duluth, and he left his truck
running.
7:04 a.m., Grand Marais: 911 hang up. Phase 1. TTY
call. Unable to call back. It was a 911 only phone.
7:23 a.m., Schroeder: Tried calling home number and
there was no answer.
7:54 a.m., Grand Marais: Safe routes to school.
8:54 a.m., Grand Marais: Wondering about an RV
parked on her lot. Just noticed it this morning but it is
in a place where she wouldn’t see it right away.
10:58 a.m., Grand Marais: Civil process attempt.
11:51 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic stop, warning given.
12:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Lost pair of glasses in a
beige case and a key fob to a vehicle somewhere in
Grand Marais.
1:28 p.m., Grand Marais: 911hang up call. CC called
back and received the front desk at Caribou. They
stated that there was no known emergency. The front
desk will have maintenance take a look around the
premise.
1:43 p.m., Grand Portage: Traffic stop, warning given.
1:58 p.m., Lutsen: RP called to report a male party
creeping around on Saturday night, and then calling
business twice on Sunday with more weird questions
and comments.
3:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Safe routes to school.
3:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Civil process attempt.
4 p.m., Grand Marais: RP called to request to speak to
a deputy.
6:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Civil process attempt.
7:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Civil process attempt.
Tuesday, Nov. 7
2:15 a.m., Lutsen: CO detector keeps going off.
2:15 a.m., Grand Portage: Business check.
6:11 a.m., Lutsen: Dead deer on the highway.
7:21 a.m., Lutsen: Dead deer in the driving lane.
7:47 a.m., Grand Marais: Safe routes to school.
9:31 a.m., Grand Portage: Audible-zone two rear
door. RP called and spoke with the party who said he
did not set a proper passcode.
11:40 a.m., Grand Marais: 89-year-old female, having
problems breathing.
12:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Police officer worked with
5th grade on DARE program.
3:23 p.m., Grand Marais: Neighbor has torn up RP’s
yard, upset about them cutting down his trees, wants
a deputy.
3:51 p.m., Lutsen: Customer shut of information to
Arrowhead Electric.
5:28 p.m., Grand Marais: RP at the YMCA has an
elderly gentleman there that needs a ride home,
thinks he has a few memory problems as well.
6:02 p.m., Grand Marais: Two hunters lost.
7:02 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic stop, warning given.
7:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Duplicate traffic stop.
7:37, Tofte: Dead deer in the middle of the road with
another deer standing by it.
8:26 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic stop, warning given.
8:45 p.m. Lutsen: Deer in the lane.
