Monday, Sept. 25
8:07 a.m., Grand Marais: School patrol.
9:10 a.m., Grand Marais: Border Patrol
reported a theft.
12:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy
requested at the high school for a problem
student.
3:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made on a
Beltrami County warrant.
6:26 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
8:28 p.m., Grand Marais: Theft of $50
from a locker at the Community Center
was reported.
8:40 p.m., Grand Marais: Assault reported.
8:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from
Holiday said someone wearing orange
pants just took some food and left.
10:18 p.m., Grand Portage: Trespassing
reported.
Tuesday, Sept. 26
7:55 a.m., Grand Marais: School patrol.
8:04 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said an
injured deer on Pike Lake Road needed to
be dispatched.
12:44 p.m., Hovland: Deputy assisted a
motorist on North Road.
3:09 p.m., Grand Portage: School patrol.

8:37 p.m., Schroeder: Power problem
reported on Cramer Road. The house was
half-lit, and half-dark.
8:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy removed
an injured deer from West Highway 61.
11:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from
Cascade Lodge may have seen a flare out
over the lake.
Wednesday, Sept. 27
7:52 a.m., Grand Portage: School patrol.
10:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy
requested for a funeral escort to Maple
Hill Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
5:23 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of
someone cutting down trees without
permission on County Road 14.
9:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
hitchhiker on the Gunflint Trail who is
wearing dark clothing and is hard to see.
11:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
she can hear five or six kids by the new
playground.
Thursday, Sept. 28
8:56 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller from Sixth
Avenue West said a bike has been left at
the curb for three days.
10:01 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller expressed
concern for two dogs left in a parked
vehicle near Bluewater Café.
12:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.

2:08 p.m., Grand Portage: Burglary
reported.
Friday, Sept. 29
8:19 a.m., Grand Marais: Fraud phone call
reported.
9:42 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint
received that the garbage truck was
driving erratically.
9:50 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
11:37 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
11:38 a.m., Schroeder: An English setter
was lost at Temperance River State Park.
11:56 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy
requested at the high school for a student
with contraband.
12:06 p.m., Grand Marais: Trespassing
reported.
1:03 p.m., Grand Marais: A stray tabby cat
was found on Nelson Trail.
2:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Rescuers were
called to Sag Lake after a boat with no
driver was seen spinning in circles, and
someone was in the water swimming.
4:21 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy called
to Sydney’s Frozen Custard to remove an
unwanted person.
10:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from
Best Western said there were four people
out at a bonfire behind the hotel.
