reported.
9:45 a.m., Tofte: Caller from Cliff Dweller locked his
keys inside his vehicle and needed assistance.
10:20 a.m., Grand Marais: Reported theft of a bike
from Fifth Avenue West.
10:55 a.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation issued.
11:43 a.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation issued.
11:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Game warden notified of
possible fishing violations.
1:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch near Two
Island Lake Campground.

6:15 p.m, Grand Marais: Accident with no injuries
involving a car and a semi in front of Paradise Beach.

4:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a dog left in a hot
vehicle at the co-op.
6:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of horses out on
County Road 7 and heading down toward the highway.
Wednesday, June 28
12:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Harassment reported.
2:54 p.m., Tofte: Trespassing complaint regarding
ATVs and dirt bikes running through private property.
11:34 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller from Townsite Road
said there is a lot of vehicle and foot traffic, and he
believes it’s suspicious.
Thursday, June 29
5:40 a.m., Tofte: Report of water and debris over the
highway at mile marker 83.
10:47 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported an accident
that occurred on the bike trail near Rosebush Lane the
previous day.
11:56 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a vehicle parked
in the alley near Hughie’s had drugs inside.
6:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from Two Island Lake
Campground said the occupants of a neighboring site
are being loud, and they left a lit candle on the picnic
table that started a tarp on fire.
7:43 p.m., Grand Marais: A German shepherd wearing
an orange vest was found on Hungry Jack Road.
Friday, June 30
7:05 a.m., Grand Marais: Power outage on Second
Avenue East.
2:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Threatening phone calls
received.
2:44 p.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle parked at Brule
Lake Landing was damaged.
8:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a tree blocking the
northbound lane of County Road 14.
Saturday, July 1
1:06 a.m., Grand Portage: Three large garbage bags
were dumped near mile marker 137.
12:10 p.m., Schroeder: Hit-and-run accident in the
wayside at Temperance River State Park.
5:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there is a male
sitting in the back seat of a vehicle parked in the
Municipal Lot exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
6:09 p.m., Grand Marais: A man wanted on an
outstanding warrant turned himself in and was booked
into jail.
Sunday, July 2
12:56 a.m., Grand Portage: Deputy assisted a motorist
on the side of the highway.
2:07 a.m., Lutsen: Loud music complaint on Lodge
Lane.
10:10 a.m., Grand Marais: Two people were injured in
a bike accident on Caspers Hill Road.
12:19 p.m., Hovland: Tree down on a power line on
Mortenson Lane.
12:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of two dogs in a
closed vehicle at Beth’s Fudge.
1:41 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller said there is a dog on
the loose on Mile Creek Road.
4:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Parking complaint at Kimball
Lake Campground. A vehicle was blocking the boat
launch area.
5:28 p.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about loud
fireworks on West Second Street.
