a bug in her ear, and it’s very painful.
9:29 a.m., Grand Marais: A gold
bracelet was found on the road near
North House Folk School.
11:48 a.m., Grand Marais: A person
was advised not to enter a downtown
business, due to lewd behavior.
12:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of
a woman “tweaking out” and talking
to herself near Holiday.
2:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
a gold Range Rover with Wisconsin
plates was hanging out at the
skateboard park, possibly selling
dope.
5:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller
said the driver of an old red pick-up
was tailgating cars and honking his
horn as well as flipping people off in
downtown Grand Marais.
7:23 p.m., Lutsen: Gas drive-off from
Lockport.
9:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from
Birchwood Apartments could hear a
female voice yelling “help!” off to the
northeast.
Tuesday, June 20
12:29 a.m., Tofte: Traffic citation
issued.
7:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Alarm set
off at the Trading Post.
11:08 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of
trash dumped along the shoreline on
East Highway 61.
11:15 a.m., Lutsen: False fire alarm
from Caribou Highlands.
11:58 a.m., Grand Marais: Arrest
made on a St. Louis County warrant.
1:35 p.m., Grand Portage: Arrest
made on a Cook County warrant.
2:05 p.m., Grand Marais: Some type
of disturbance reported at Pine
Mountain Court involving a person
in a red pick-up with a canoe on top.
3:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
donkey running around on County
Road 7. The owner was contacted.
3:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
there are four horses in his dad’s
yard. They are an older couple and
are a bit scared. They were told to
stay in the house, and keep the dog
inside as well.
4:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of
a possible fight in the alley behind
Sivertson’s Gallery.
7:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Parking
complaint on West Fifth Street.
9:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic
citation issued.

2:07 a.m., Grand Marais: False alarm
at Holiday.
10:49 a.m., Schroeder: A blue and
black life vest was found on the
highway.
12:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Hit-and-run reported at Cook County Home
Center.
12:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Report
of an injured deer that needs to be
dispatched on East Highway 61.
3:57 p.m., Tofte: Traffic citation
issued.
4:32 p.m., Tofte: Traffic citation
issued.
4:57 p.m., Grand Marais: A brown
chihuahua wearing a lime green
collar was found on the Gunflint
Trail.
5:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
the Frito-Lay truck was swerving
all over the highway at Devil Track
River.

8:03 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller
received some pornographic e-mails.
10:09 a.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle
was found in the ditch off Ball Club
Road with open containers. No one
was around.
10:35 a.m., Grand Portage: A
suspected counterfeit $1 bill was
received at the lodge.
10:42 a.m., Grand Marais: A wallet
was found on the sidewalk at
Birchbark Gallery.
11:53 a.m., Grand Marais: Suspected
fraud/identity theft reported at
Aspen Lodge.
12:10 p.m., Grand Marais: A 15-yearold went missing on the Pincushion
mountain bike trail about three
hours ago.
3:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller
said she was walking across North
Broadway at 10:45 a.m. when she was
hit by a vehicle. The driver stopped
and asked if she was okay.
7:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic
citation issued.
9:02 p.m., Grand Marais: A
disturbance was reported on the
beach at the Rec Park. A man was
yelling at a woman, calling her a
witch. He also had a dog he refused
to put on a leash.
Friday, June 23
6:39 a.m., Grand Marais: Power
outage on Second Avenue East,
possibly caused by a squirrel.
10:05 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller
from West First Street said her cat
has been missing since Sunday.
12:26 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic
citation issued.
2:02 p.m., Grand Marais: A 54-yearold man fell from the waterfall at
Kadunce.
2:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Someone
dumped an electric stove, washer and
dryer near USFS 308.
4:35 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy
assisted State Patrol with a juvenile.
5:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of
a vehicle parked at Sven & Ole’s with
two dogs inside, and the windows
rolled up all the way.
7:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic
disturbance on South Shore Drive.
8:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from
Pike Lake Road said his neighbor is
shooting a rifle, and was last night as
well.

from Bay Estates Drive reported a
smell of electrical-type smoke in her
apartment.
9:08 a.m., Schroeder: Report of a
vehicle roll-over at mile marker 74.
7:14 p.m., Hovland: Caller from
Naniboujou Lodge locked his keys in
his vehicle.
8:47 p.m., Grand Portage: A person
who was banished from Grand
Portage was picked up and arrested.
10:04 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic
disturbance at Two Island Lake
Campground.
