a loaded semi blocking the entrance to a business.

7:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy participated in Safe
Routes to School.
1:30 p.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called to the ski hill
for a 44-year-old man who fell and hit a rock, and is
suffering lower rib pain and difficulty breathing.
2:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic altercation that
occurred the previous night reported.
4:56 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle rollover on the
Gunflint Trail.
5:46 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a tree blocking the
Gunflint Trail near Trail Center.
6:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outage on
Moonshadow Trail.
6:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there is a topper
on the side of the highway at mile marker 123, and
the wind is flipping it around.
9:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Welfare check requested on
a possibly intoxicated man.
Wednesday, March 8
8:09 a.m., Grand Marais: School patrol at the high
school.
8:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Power outage at Tuscarora
Lodge.
11:02 a.m., Grand Marais: Ambulance called to
Caspers Hill Road for a burn victim.
2:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Theft of a vehicle reported at
Birchwood Apartments.
5:25 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a vehicle went
into the lake off Trestle Pine Road and is stuck.
Thursday, March 9
7:27 a.m., Hovland: Phone scam attempt reported.
12:21 p.m., Grand Marais: A man turned himself in
on a Pine County warrant.
2:51 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a dead deer on the
shoulder of the highway was referred to MnDOT.
5:14 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller said a 15-year-old
female has swallowed sleeping pills.
Friday, March 10
11:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there are three
kids out on the harbor playing on the ice, and it isn’t
safe.
2:52 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a reckless driver
on the highway.
4:36 p.m., Grand Marais: Two black labs went missing
from Walter Road about 90 minutes ago.
5:12 p.m., Hovland: Report of debris on the highway
near Naniboujou Trail.
9:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller’s heat was not
working.
Saturday, March 11
1:51 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy called regarding
an unwanted person in the building at Birchwood
Apartments.
3:51 a.m., Grand Portage: Attempted burglary
reported; somebody threw a rock at a window.
7:01 a.m., Grand Portage: Burglary alarm at the
Community Center.
8:15 a.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious activity reported
at Holiday after the caller saw somebody place a
wheelchair by the Red Box and leave. The vehicle had
Wisconsin plates and a wheelchair emblem.
9:03 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy called to remove an
unwanted person from Birchwood Apartments.
10:49 a.m., Schroeder: Deer-car accident at mile
marker 76.
12:01 p.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called to the ski hill
for a 6-year-old boy with head and neck injuries.
6:05 p.m., Hovland: Caller said her husband was
taking pictures at Magney State Park, and she cannot
find him. She is looking for him now, but there is no
sign of him.
9:16 p.m., Grand Portage: A gabapentin pill was
found on the ground at the Community Center.
10:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from the Shoreline
Motel said his room keys are not working, and he
cannot reach the manager.
Sunday, March 12
1:03 a.m., Lutsen: Caller from Papa Charlie’s said four
jackets were stolen from the band that was there. They
are valuable band jackets.
10:00 a.m., Lutsen: False panic alarm.
11:39 a.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called to the ski hill
for a 38-year-old man with an injury and falling blood
pressure.
3:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outages reported on
Pike Lake Road.
4:14 p.m., Grand Portage: Low temperature alarm at
the national monument.
