7:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy participated in
Safe Routes to School.
9:00 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assistance was
requested to retrieve items from an ex-spouse’s
residence.
1:06 p.m., Grand Marais: False report of a vehicle
theft.
1:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Harassment reported.
2:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Burglar alarm on
County Road 60.
4:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle was struck by
another vehicle at the high school.
6:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a dead deer
on the highway near Five Mile Rock.
Tuesday, Feb. 28
1:34 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a vehicle rollover and domestic altercation.
4:26 a.m., Grand Marais: Smoke detector was
activated on South Point Road.
7:47 a.m., Grand Marais: Safe Routes to School.
11:46 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy participated in
a DARE program.
1:18 p.m., Grand Marais: A black lab went
missing near Sag Lake.
5:35 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to
remove an unwanted person from a residence.
10:11 p.m., Tofte: Fire alarm at a Tofte Homestead
Drive residence.
Wednesday, March 1
3:09 a.m., Grand Marais: Domestic abuse
investigation.
5:11 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of two females
fighting inside a residence. They were gone when
a deputy arrived.
Thursday, March 2
6:32 a.m., Lutsen: Speeding citation issued.
11:27 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to
escort an unwanted student off school property.
12:26 p.m., Lutsen: Report of a deceased man on
Mink Ranch Road.
5:05 p.m., Grand Portage: Financial exploitation
of a vulnerable adult investigation.
7:35 p.m., Lutsen: Reported threats are under
investigation.
11:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a dead deer
on the highway at mile marker 99.
Friday, March 3
7:46 a.m., Grand Marais: School patrol.
12:55 p.m., Grand Marais: DARE program.
4:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck and injured
at mile marker 113.
4:51 p.m., Lutsen: Deer struck on the highway.
Saturday, March 4
1:42 p.m., Lutsen: A vehicle was stuck on
Evergreen Road-Caribou Trail.
2:22 p.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called to the ski
hill.
3:25 p.m., Grand Portage: A suspicious white
rock/powder substance was found at the
Community Center, but tested negative for drugs.
3:32 p.m., Grand Marais: A driver who flipped
her snowmobile on the lake was at the restaurant
on Fireweed Lane, and seemed okay.
3:45 p.m., Schroeder: Caller from Schroeder Tote
Road said a Bernese mountain dog showed up at
her house.
7:25 p.m., Lutsen: Report of two pick-up trucks
racing up and down Ski Hill Road.
7:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he used the
Community Center today, and forgot to lock it
up.
Sunday, March 5
2:35 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assistance
requested to retrieve property from a residence.
4:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Alarm set off at a
downtown business.
6:24 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that a vehicle
towing a snowmobile trailer is crossing the center
line on the Gunflint Trail.
8:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck on the
highway.
