1:30 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to remove a
drunk person from a residence.
5:50 a.m., Lutsen: A person taking care of someone’s
dog said the owners are late in picking the dog up.
9:21 a.m., Grand Marais: Two Razr scooters were lost
in town over Moose Madness weekend.
11:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a parent using
heroin in front of a child.
12:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller was concerned
for her boyfriend, who is depressed and may harm
himself.
2:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic abuse reported.
5:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
5:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
5:51 p.m., Lutsen: School bus stop arm violation
reported.
6:34 p.m., Schroeder: An accident involving a semi
occurred near the bridge at mile marker 76.
9:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from Trailside Cabins
could hear some yelling going on outside.
9:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of an intoxicated man
walking in the middle of the highway near Dockside.
10:44 p.m., Lutsen: Report of a woman walking on the
shoulder of the highway near mile marker 91.
Tuesday, Oct. 25
7:46 a.m., Grand Marais: Lost wallet reported.
7:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy participated in Safe
Routes to School.
10:19 a.m., Grand Portage: Drugs were found in a
guest’s room at the lodge.
10:36 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy participated in the
DARE program at Great Expectations.
1:02 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller from the Mount
Josephine trailhead said his wife is missing.
1:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Lost cell phone reported.
3:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a cow outside the
fence on Fall River Road.
4:31 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller from Upper Road said
there is an SUV speeding past his residence.
5:25 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller’s daughter is
threatening to run away.
6:18 p.m., Grand Portage: Back door alarm went off at
the state park.
7:38 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outage on Washout
Road.
Wednesday, Oct. 26
7:52 a.m., Grand Portage: School zone patrol.
2:11 p.m., Tofte: The Arrowhead Transit bus backed
into an awning.
4:19 p.m., Tofte: School bus stop arm violation
reported.
7:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there is a yellow
Lab wandering around County Road 7, and it looks
scared.
11:15 p.m., Schroeder: Structure fire on Sugar Loaf
Road.
Thursday, Oct. 27
10:00 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said some racial
comments were found on the bathroom wall at the
high school.
12:24 p.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation issued.
12:52 p.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation issued.
6:19 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assistance requested
at North Shore Health.
8:41 p.m., Hovland: Break-in of a garage reported. It
was unknown what was taken.
Friday, Oct. 28
1:10 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of an intoxicated
driver.
10:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said the lock on his
gate was cut off, but nothing was missing. Extra patrols
were requested.
3:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made on a Pine
County warrant.
3:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Gas drive-off from Super
America.
5:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious activity reported.
The caller’s LP tank was turned off.
5:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from the bank was
concerned for a woman who stopped there looking for
a place to stay.
7:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Structure fire on County
Road 60 reported.
11:01 p.m., Schroeder: Traffic citation issued.
Saturday, Oct. 29
10:59 a.m., Tofte: Traffic citation issued.
11:54 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted a motorist
on the highway.
12:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said two ATVs appear
to be racing on Second Street.
6:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made on a Martin
County warrant.
11:38 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic disturbance
reported.
Sunday, Oct. 30
12:40 a.m., Grand Marais: DWI arrest.
7:54 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch off the
Gunflint Trail.
10:00 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
11:39 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a small horse
loose on County Road 6.
3:28 p.m., Schroeder: Traffic citation issued.
7:57 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller said some kids are
egging cars near the monument.
