vulnerable adult abuse.
3:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
4:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Tree down and
blocking half of County Road 60.
11:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by
a vehicle on County Road 7.

8:37 a.m., Grand Marais: False intrusion
alarm at Sivertson’s Gallery.
10:58 a.m., Grand Marais: Reported theft
of money from a contactor’s wallet at the
high school.
2:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious
activity reported.
3:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
5:18 p.m., Tofte: Tax fraud phone call
reported.
6:03 p.m., Grand Marais: Border Patrol
brought in two individuals for jail.
6:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
17-year-old male with a cut hand in the
Kadunce River.
7:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Reported
burglary and theft of cash and
prescription meds.
11:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of an
older man sitting by the bleachers at the
high school with an underage female.
Deputies were unable to locate them.

12:16 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller found a
cat and was wondering about the pound.
6:37 a.m., Tofte: Report of a semi with a
blown tire.
7:28 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
9:09 a.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at
Bluefin.
10:40 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
2:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
workers who were digging up the sewer
at the bottom of Sixth Avenue West
posed a traffic hazard, as there were no
flags or markers and traffic couldn’t see.
2:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Neighbor
trouble.
2:38 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation
issued.
2:44 p.m., Tofte: Caller warned of
suspicious activity at Britton Peak
trailhead. There were two men who
appeared to be scoping out the parking
lot.
2:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he
lost a pair of glasses near the Coast Guard
station.
3:19 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported
possible drug-selling activity.
3:37 p.m., Grand Marais: A deputy
accompanied an inmate to the ATM for
bail money for his release.
5:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of
driveway damage.
6:03 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from
West Second Street said there is an older
black Lab sitting in his yard.
10:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Assault
reported.

underage consumption of alcohol.
9:32 a.m., Schroeder: False entry alarm at
Cross River Heritage Center.
10:49 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint
about three bicycle riders traveling on
Highway 61, creating a traffic hazard.
11:11 a.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation
issued.
11:20 a.m., Grand Portage: A motorist
reported that there is a large group of
motorcycles at the Mount Josephine pulloff acting suspiciously.
2:09 p.m., Tofte: Report of three lost kids
at Carlton Peak. They were found about
20 minutes later.
2:44 p.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation
issued.
4:38 p.m., Hovland: Cabin break-in
reported.
5:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a lost
14-year-old boy at Pincushion Overlook.
7:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller requested
information about the ATV speed limit.

6:02 a.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a
vehicle at mile marker 96.
9:05 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy assisted
State Patrol on a traffic stop.
2:03 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a
trailer hit his car and almost took the
front bumper off.
6:06 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there
was an orange 10-speed bicycle on the
grass near Grand Marais State Bank.
7:29 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
missing/lost wallet on the Pincushion
Overlook.
9:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of
branches hanging on the wires on Bents
Road.
9:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Threats made.
10:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller asked
about the allowable music level and the
time they have to quit.
Saturday, June 25
1:13 a.m., Grand Portage: Theft reported
at the lodge.
10:34 a.m., Grand Marais: Threats
reported.
2:01 p.m., Grand Marais: A credit card
was found on the sidewalk near the
liquor store and turned in.
3:00 p.m., Grand Marais: A two-vehicle
fender-bender occurred at Highway
61-Devil Track River. No accidents
reported.
4:05 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the
ditch just north of Hedstrom’s.
6:05 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he
just watched a car pull away from the
GunFlint Tavern and saw a young child
between his mother’s legs on the floor of
the passenger seat.
8:28 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said his
car was missing. He parked it about four
hours ago near Harbor Park, and now
it’s gone. It was found in a downtown
parking lot.
10:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
10-year-old walking and hitchhiking at
mile marker 118.
11:02 p.m., Grand Marais: A set of keys
was found in Gene’s Foods.
11:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Complaint
about loud music across the lake from
South Point Road, keeping people awake.

9:54 a.m., Grand Marais: Barking dog
complaint from Seventh Avenue West.
12:22 p.m., Lutsen: Theft of a laptop from
a vehicle reported.
2:23 p.m., Tofte: Caller said a kayaker
near Tofte Park Road may be in trouble.
4:40 p.m., Schroeder: Complaint about a
bear in the campground at Lamb’s Resort.
5:06 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that
someone was washed off the lighthouse
breakwall by a wave was unfounded.
7:10 p.m., Grand Portage: Tree down and
halfway into the southbound lane near
Mount Jo.
