Center.
1:52 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that a female Bernese
mountain dog named “Gunny” has run off from an
East Highway 61 residence, and has been missing for
a couple hours.
2:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic altercation
reported.
2:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Assault reported.
8:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported verbal
threats on Facebook.

11:26 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported a possible
rape from 2014.
2:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
2:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller on West Fifth Street
reported seeing unusual lights.
2:23 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at Bluefin Bay, set off
by dust in the room.
3:29 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that a neighbor’s
seasonal cabin has a broken basement window.

DWI suspect for jail.

1:24 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy conducted a DARE
program at the high school.
1:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Some unused fireworks
and old ammunition were dropped off at the Law
Enforcement Center for disposal.
1:43 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at Bluefin Bay.
3:47 p.m., Grand Marais: School bus stop arm
violation reported.
5:56 p.m., Tofte: False burglar alarm at Coho Café.
6:02 p.m., Grand Marais: A license plate was found.
6:18 p.m., Tofte: Traffic citation issued.
Thursday, April 14
7:45 a.m., Tofte: The U.S. Forest Service will be out
burning grass fields in Tofte and Grand Marais near
their stations, and will put signs out.
8:32 a.m., Grand Marais: Attempted phone fraud
reported.
10:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle fire at the highway
department, near the Goble building.
11:07 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there is trash
blowing everywhere near West First Street/Third
Avenue West, and the gulls are making a mess of it. Is
there a city ordinance on this, and could a deputy go
and speak with the homeowner?
