identities of individuals in Cook County Law Enforcement briefs.
When court proceedings are complete, the Cook County News-
Herald publishes a complete accounting of names and penalties in
its Matters of Record.

Monday, Dec. 7

12:44 a.m., Grand Marais: Truck driver on Highway 61 hit a deer near Cascade, damaging the vehicle. The deer was killed and salvaged.

8:43 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a guy crouched down near the old Flute Reed store on Highway 61. The caller said he looked cold, and someone may want to check on him. State Patrol notified.

11:45 a.m., Lutsen: Report of a garage broken into, and various items stolen.

3:09 p.m., Lutsen: Report of a stolen bike.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

12:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Fender-bender reported at Cascade Bluffs.

4:57 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of stolen meds. 7:02 p.m., Grand Portage: Verbal domestic argument.

Wednesday, Dec. 9
1:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Child abuse reported. 5:03 p.m., Schroeder: Complaint about an unsafe driver.

Thursday, Dec. 10

10:28 a.m., Lutsen: Report of a vehicle parked in the Ski Hill lot for a week.

2:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of someone out on Artist Point trying to free a duck frozen in the ice. Game warden notified.

Friday, Dec. 11
8:40 a.m., Lutsen: Caller reported ATV tracks on Ski Hill Road.

3:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of an SUV in the Rec Park, behind the gate near the sledding area.

Saturday, Dec. 12
9:20 a.m., Lutsen: Hit and run reported.

8:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Alarm at a Mid-Trail residence determined to be unfounded.

9:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested to remove an unwanted intoxicated person from a residence.

Sunday, Dec. 13
9:31 p.m., Lutsen: Suspicious vehicle investigation.
