9:23 a.m., Grand Marais: A credit card was found.
1:20 p.m., Hovland: Report of overdue hikers on the
Superior Hiking Trail.
2:52 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of two missing bicycles
from Birchwood Apartments.
3:06 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a bear cub near the
rock cut. Traffic is backing up and causing a hazard with
people getting out and taking photos.
3:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of possible drug
trafficking.
4:55 p.m., Lutsen: A large black cell phone was found on
the Caribou Trail and turned in to the Law Enforcement
Center.

Road 14.

Cabins.
6:16 a.m., Hovland: Power outage at Naniboujou Trail.
10:02 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a vehicle parked on
the upper shoulder of the highway near Kadunce with
its windows down for four days.
7:10 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm.

7:51 a.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck and injured on
County Road 14.
11:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said someone was
shooting an assault-style weapon at the Bearskin burn
pit.
11:56 p.m., Grand Portage: Traffic citation issued.
12:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Possible trespassing reported.
4:55 p.m., Grand Marais: False fire alarm on First
Avenue East.
5:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of two bags of trash in

6:15 p.m., Tofte: Caller said there is a bear cub near
Chateau Leveaux, and lots of people are concerned.
7:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic citation issued.
8:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of several cars driving
at a high rate of speed on Pike Lake Road.
8:45 p.m., Schroeder: A deputy assisted State Patrol
looking for a vehicle that was speeding with its lights off,
eastbound from Schroeder.
9:03 p.m., Lutsen: Traffic citation issued.
9:36 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at Bluefin.
11:12 p.m., Grand Marais: Assistance requested for a
71-year-old man with his hand stuck in a ladder.

12:44 a.m., Lutsen: Deputy requested to remove an
unruly male customer from Papa Charlie’s.
2:15 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there were kids
being loud and smoking dope in the parking lot at
Birchwood Apartments.

Voyageurs Point making a lot of noise.
