with 22.5 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
3:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Person lost his car keys while out
shed hunting near the Lima Grade.
4:23 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller expressed concern about an
old fridge that was left sitting near the blacksmith shop with
its doors intact, and has been there for at least two weeks.
He was afraid a child would get into it.
6:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he couldn’t locate one
of his guns.
8:02 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a white pit bull off its
leash came after her on Eighth Avenue West.

3:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of loud chirping noises
coming from the office at the Rec Park.
5:14 a.m., Grand Marais: Domestic problem.
6:04 and 6:16 a.m., Grand Marais: False fire alarm at Grand
Marais Apartments.
8:39 a.m., Grand Marais: Tree down and blocking Cascade
Beach Road.
9:45 a.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious activity reported on
Hall Road.
2:27 p.m., Grand Marais: A northbound vehicle went into
the ditch off the Gunflint Trail a couple times.
2:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a person driving a sideby side ATV around town with an infant in the seat next to
the driver.
7:51 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for speeding.
9:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck and injured on the
highway.

2:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic stop, warning given.
Sunday, May 3
12:14 a.m., Grand Marais: Parking complaint.
11:42 a.m., Tofte: Motorist assist.
3:17 p.m., Grand Marais: Driving complaint about a mobile
home.
5:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a car pulled off on the
west side of the Gunflint Trail. The driver appeared to be
sleeping, but the vehicle was in a hazardous spot.
Monday, May 4
2:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Property damage reported.
Someone cut a tree from the caller’s yard.
4:08 p.m., Schroeder: Damage to a vehicle reported.
4:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for speeding.
6:01 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he is concerned about
a white pit bull charging out of a yard toward the street on
Eighth Avenue West.
9:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a person who appears
to be intoxicated fell off a bike near Dairy Queen.
Tuesday, May 5
10:36 a.m., Hovland: Possible trespassing/property damage
reported.
1:43 p.m., Grand Marais: False alarm at the courthouse set
off by a kid.
4:11 p.m., Grand Portage: School bus stop arm violation
reported.
6:57 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller said her husband paddleboarded out to Isle Royale and is now disoriented and can’t
make it back.
7:40 p.m., Grand Portage: Grass fire reported.
7:54 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of a suspicious vehicle on
Store Road.
Wednesday, May 6
12:31 a.m., Lutsen: Deputy assisted State Patrol with a
rollover on the highway.
2:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a lost checkbook.
3:50 p.m., Lutsen: Carbon monoxide alarm going off at a
Caribou Trail residence.
5:46 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic disturbance.
7:11 p.m., Schroeder: False fire alarm at Temperance
Landing.
10:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported that a cat is stuck
up a tree somewhere next to the building at Birchwood
Apartments. The cat is very scared and making a lot of
noise. The caller is trying to get her child to sleep, and this
(cat) is keeping her awake.

9:34 a.m., Lutsen: Report of up to 10 kids blaring music and
climbing on the roof of the warming house at Pincushion
overlook.
11:57 a.m., Grand Portage: Assistance given to Customs,
who detained a subject at the border on a federal warrant.
12:54 p.m., Grand Portage: Driver cited for speeding.
6:07 p.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about a group of five
kids throwing logs and sticks at a truck and out in the street
at Birchwood Apartments.
6:47 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for speeding.
7:06 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for no front license plate
and warned for no proof of insurance and expired tabs.
Friday, May 8
12:51 p.m., Lutsen: Driver cited for driving after revocation.
2:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrest made for probation
violation.
3:11 p.m., Lutsen: Caller said a person cashed a check at the
bank, and he was intoxicated.
6:29 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for no proof of insurance.
7:15 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for speeding.
