9:09 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
suspicious vehicle parked near Great
Expectations.
3:05 p.m., Grand Marais: Death
notification requested.
Tuesday, April 7
11:37 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller came
home for lunch and the front door was
open, and the dog was outside.
12:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited
for speeding.
12:44 p.m., Grand Portage: Two
Canadians who made a wrong turn
were stopped by U.S. Customs with .92
pounds of marijuana. One person was
arrested for possession.
1:20 p.m., Lutsen: Caller said two
logging trucks were speeding through
the 40 mph zone.
2:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
lost phone on the Pike Lake Road.
8:02 p.m., Grand Portage: Two persons
were picked up and arrested for
probation violations.
11:13 p.m., Tofte: False security alarm
at Holiday.
Wednesday, April 8
12:51 p.m., Grand Marais: Threatening
text messages reported.
6:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited
for speeding.
Thursday, April 9
7:33 a.m., Lutsen: Caller from Lutsen
Resort said the 911 button was hit by
mistake. There is no emergency.
11:42 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
a deputy is needed to take an out-ofcontrol individual to detox.
12:02 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a
woman with Wisconsin plates who has
been in town for about three weeks is
sitting in the Catholic church parking
lot acting weird.
4:33 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at
Bluefin Bay.
Friday, April 10
3:00 p.m., Grand Portage: Arrest made
on a probation violation.
11:32 p.m., Hovland: Caller said
someone with a head lamp was
out inside his vehicle and when
confronted, took off on foot.

Saturday, April 11
1:35 a.m., Lutsen: Assault reported.
6:28 a.m., Grand Portage: Drug activity
reported at the C-store.
9:34 a.m., Lutsen: Eagle Ridge reported
a broken window.
10:05 a.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called
to the ski hill for a person with a back
injury.
11:10 a.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called
to the ski hill for a 22-year-old man
with rib injuries.
12:43 p.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called
to the ski hill for a 35-year-old man
with an ankle injury.
6:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said
five guys and a girl got out of a van at
Johnson’s Foods with beers in their
hands.
8:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Parking
complaint. Caller said there was a car
parked across two parking slots on
South Broadway.
9:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited
for speeding.
10:31 p.m., Lutsen: Unwanted people
were skiing and snowboarding on
Moose Run.
11:09 p.m., Lutsen: Driver cited for no
license.
11:33 p.m., Lutsen: Driver cited for
speeding.
Sunday, April 12
12:25 a.m., Lutsen: Suspicious vehicle
at Eagle Mountain.
11:43 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of an
overflowing culvert on South Gunflint
Lake Road.
2:18 p.m., Grand Marais: A car tire
fell off in front of the Pie Place and is
blocking traffic.
3:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Large sink
hole on Fall River Road reported.
4:34 p.m., Grand Portage: Report that
a group of underage girls are driving
recklessly in the Community Center
parking area.
5:13 p.m., Hovland: Report of potential
flooding on the Arrowhead Trail.
6:44 p.m., Schroeder: Parking problem
reported on Sugar Loaf Road.
