10:00 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there were horses
in his yard on Brandon Lane – seven of them.
10:31 a.m., Grand Marais: Child protection issue.
6:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a person who drove
himself to the ER is more than legally blind.
Tuesday, March 10
4:07 a.m., Lutsen: Car in the ditch at mile marker 89.
9:04 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a snowmobile drove
across his front yard on Second Avenue West.
9:10 a.m., Grand Marais: A truck parked at Voyageur
Canoe Outfitters was damaged.
3:17 p.m., Grand Portage: False security alarm at a
residence.
3:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there appears to be
someone passed out in his vehicle in the middle of the
road near Maple Hill Fire Department.
5:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller’s black Lab ran off from
home on Fall River Road.
6:04 p.m., Grand Marais: A driver’s license was found
and turned in at the Law Enforcement Center.
8:28 p.m., Schroeder: Fire alarm at Temperance Landing
set off by smoke from a fireplace. The fire department
was cancelled.
11:05 p.m., Lutsen: A pick-up truck was stuck in the
caller’s driveway.
Wednesday, March 11
8:30 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a 3-year-old in the
vehicle hit the SOS button, which reported the vehicle
was sinking in Greenwood Lake. False alarm.
10:47 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a large box in the
middle of the Gunflint Trail. The highway department
was notified.
2:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a burglary sometime
during the past two weeks.
8:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about two kids on
dirt bikes, riding with no headlights.
Thursday, March 12
1:07 a.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for speeding.
10:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch off the
Gunflint Trail.
12:25 p.m., Grand Marais: A person was picked up and
held on a Pine County parole violation.
2:04 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller stated that there were
chickens walking up the sidewalk in the 100 block of
First Avenue West.
7:30 p.m., Grand Marais: A beagle, “Bonnie,” took off
from a Croftville Road residence about an hour ago.
Friday, March 13
9:09 a.m., Grand Portage: Front door alarm at a
residence, determined to be false.
2:36 p.m., Tofte: Workshop on fire, lots of flames.
3:35 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch off the
Gunflint Trail.
4:52 p.m., Tofte: False smoke alarm at Bluefin Bay.
Saturday, March 14
1:18 a.m., Lutsen: Driver cited for speeding.
9:59 a.m., Hovland: Driver cited for speeding.
11:29 a.m., Grand Portage: Driver cited for speeding.
12:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Motorist assist on County
Road 6.
12:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Arrowhead Electric was
notified of a power outage on Sea Gull Lake Road.
6:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Two hikers on the Cascade
River hiking trail said they might be lost.
8:29 p.m., Grand Marais: Car in the ditch off the
Gunflint Trail.
9:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller let the dog out, and is
now locked out of the house.
10:03 p.m., Tofte: Criminal sexual conduct investigation.
Sunday, March 15
12:04 a.m., Grand Marais: Disturbance (yelling) on Sixth
Avenue West.
1:03 a.m., Grand Marais: Report that water was running
from Third Street onto the highway.
8:00 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller on Pike Lake Road said
the power just went out with a bang.
5:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said two children, ages 6
and 9, were gone. They were last seen a couple hours ago.
8:20 p.m., Grand Portage: Complaint about a white
sports car with a black hood driving around carelessly.
9:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller reported suspicious
activity at a residence. The owners are not there.
11:05 p.m., Lutsen: Report of a large party in the hallway
at Eagle Ridge.
