unit, and nobody around.
3:53 p.m., Hovland: A car slid into the front door of
the post office.
6:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of large snow drifts
on Highway 61, making it tough for smaller cars to
get through.
10:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about blowing
snow and building up drifts downtown, and it’s
getting hard to drive through. The street department
was notified.
Tuesday, Feb. 24
7:47 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a stolen electronic
device from an unlocked car parked at the Shoreline.
11:07 a.m., Lutsen: Harassment.
1:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Reported theft of items from
the back of a truck parked across from the Legion.
Wednesday, Feb. 25
12:25 a.m., Grand Marais: A yellow Lab, “Stoli,” went
missing from his residence.
8:32 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a car with Georgia
plates parked in the southbound lane of the Gunflint
Trail, about two miles north of Trout Lake Road.
4:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Parking complaint on Pike
Lake Road regarding a car with a trailer parked on a
hill on a curve.
Thursday, Feb. 26
12:08 a.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for driving
after revocation and no proof of insurance.
8:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Lost set of keys reported.
11:44 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch off the
highway near Fall River Road.
12:56 p.m., Grand Marais: Debit card fraud reported
totaling over $2,800.
Friday, Feb. 27
11:02 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller said someone is
selling drugs.
12:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that a student is
destroying property at the high school.
4:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Threats made.
