6:48 a.m., Grand Marais: A white German shepherd,
100-plus pounds, was missing from County Road 14.
8:23 a.m. Grand Marais: Report of rocks falling onto
the highway at mile marker 104.
9:13 a.m., Hovland: Caller has not heard from his
wife, and she did not show up for work.
9:21 a.m., Grand Portage: A vehicle ran the school bus
stop arm on Stevens Road.
9:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Someone was four-wheeling
at the Rec Park near the primitive camp sites.
Tuesday, Dec. 16
12:08 a.m., Grand Marais: Residential burglar alarm
on North Bearskin Lake Road. False alarm.
7:36 a.m., Grand Marais: A power pole on Devil Track
Road was on fire.
10:11 a.m., Grand Marais: Mail and phone fraud
reported.
11:21 a.m., Grand Portage: Vehicle in the ditch off
Store Road.
1:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested at the
high school for reported threats.
3:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a garbage bin with
garbage in the driving lane near Pincushion B&B.
5:49 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle went into the ditch
off County Road 14.
7:37 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a car went into
the ditch softly near Isak Hansen, and another driver
stopped to help get it out.
Wednesday, Dec. 17
6:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch near
Cascade State Park.
3:48 p.m., Grand Portage: Fender-bender at the
Trading Post.
6:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there is a
Mercedes parked in the handicap spot at the YMCA.
Thursday, Dec. 18
9:10 a.m., Hovland: Vehicle with a trailer in the ditch
off North Road.
12:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of possible financial
exploitation and medical neglect.
2:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Sexual assault reported.
8:01 p.m., Grand Marais: A gray husky was reported
missing on West First Street.
Friday, Dec. 19
8:53 a.m., Grand Marais: Phone tax scam reported.
10:19 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there was a
black-and-white goat in his driveway on County Road

Apartments said someone just shot a gun outside his
bedroom window.

9:27 a.m., Hovland: Car stuck in the ditch off Powers
Lake Road.
9:48 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint that snow was
being plowed onto the sidewalk near Grand Marais
State Bank.
11:14 a.m., Schroeder: Vehicle in the ditch at mile
marker 71.
12:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle hit ice and went
into the ditch near Cascade State Park.
1:44 p.m., Tofte: Vehicle in the ditch near mile marker
83.
7:02 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at Bluefin.
Sunday, Dec. 21
2:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a dog has been
inside a car on West Second Street all day long.
6:02 p.m., Grand Portage: False alarm at the
Community Center.
6:46 p.m., Grand Portage: Driver cited for speeding.
8:40 p.m., Lutsen: Deputy assisted a motorist who ran
out of fuel near Ski Hill Road.
