7:53 a.m., Grand Marais: A truck was stuck in the
middle of the road below the water tower.
9:47 a.m., Tofte: Drive-off from Holiday.
12:11 p.m., Tofte: Caller said the telephone lines at
the Tofte waste site are weighed down with ice and
touching the tops of vehicles.
12:23 p.m., Grand Marais: Numerous calls about
a spruce tree blocking the westbound lane of the
highway near mile marker 100.
4:35 p.m., Grand Portage: Caller said a person was
high on drugs and driving around Grand Portage.
8:29 p.m., Grand Marais: Dispute at a storage locker.
8:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle went into the ditch
on South Gunflint Lake Road and sideswiped a tree.
Tuesday, Nov. 25
12:37 a.m., Hovland: Vehicle in the ditch.
5:33 a.m., Grand Marais: Possible theft of medication
reported.
4:17 p.m., Hovland: Possible trespassing and
disturbance.
Wednesday, Nov. 26
6:19 p.m., Grand Portage: Vehicle in the ditch off Mile
Creek Road.
Thursday, Nov. 27
1:52 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he just got home
and there is pot smoke in the house.
8:58 a.m., Grand Marais: Property issue on County
Road 7.
9:21 a.m., Grand Portage: Chimney fire on Margaret’s
Road.
10:28 a.m., Grand Marais: Wind pulled power lines
away from a house on West Fifth Street.
7:15 p.m., Grand Marais: Harassing phone calls
reported.
Friday, Nov. 28
10:58 a.m., Tofte: Deputy assisted State Patrol with a
stalled vehicle.
4:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy was downtown to
assist with the parade.
7:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Residential fire alarm on
North Broadway.
11:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller’s off-peak heat
wasn’t working.
Saturday, Nov. 29
10:31 a.m., Schroeder: Report of a driver hot-rodding
near mile marker 71.
12:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a person out at
the end of Artist Point for the past two hours who
appears to be falling several times and unable to get
back onto the trail.
3:29 p.m., Lutsen: Caller heard a boom and then the
power went out.
4:31 p.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle went into the ditch
south of Gunflint Lodge and will be towed in the
morning.
6:08 p.m., Grand Marais: A capsized boat was stuck in
the ice at the Pike Lake access.
Sunday, Nov. 30
1:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Trespassing on posted
property captured on a game camera.
2:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for speeding.
6:38 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said his missing car
was spotted at the Birch Terrace and he would like to
report it stolen.
9:39 p.m., Grand Portage: False burglar alarm at the
Community Center.
