Monday, Nov. 10

9:45 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a black lab on the run on Fall River Road. 10:20 a.m., Grand Marais: Lost cell phone reported. 12:42 p.m., Hovland: Hunters who shot a buck were given permission by a conservation officer to track it into the game refuge. 2:26 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm. 4:03 p.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle hit a street light on Eighth Avenue West. 4:12 p.m., Grand Marais: A car hit a propane truck at Fifth Avenue West and Highway 61. No injuries reported.

Tuesday, Nov. 11

12:01 a.m., Grand Portage: Driver cited for speeding. 6:23 a.m., Grand Portage: False alarm at the Community Center. 1:25 p.m., Grand Marais: A bucket truck burned up on the Gunflint Trail. 1:52 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller on County Road 7 wanted help moving cows from one side of the road to the other. 5:24 p.m., Tofte: Workers on the cell tower hit a power line on Tofte Homestead Drive.

2:50 a.m., Hovland: Tow truck needed on Tower Road. 8:10 a.m., Grand Portage: Welfare check requested on Upper Road. 1:39 p.m., Grand Marais: A deer carcass was found at the Rec Park.

Thursday, Nov. 13

12:10 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of kids hanging out at Birchwood Apartments, trying to get in. 2:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Harassment by Facebook reported. 4:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Attempted fraud reported. 5:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller from Ohio said the presidential vehicles that were left on his property on the Arrowhead Trail keep getting swiped. 9:36 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for speeding. 10:11 p.m., Grand Portage: Driver cited for speeding. 10:15 p.m., Schroeder: Driver cited for no driver’s license.

Friday, Nov. 14

8:12 a.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle went through the crossing guard flag at the school. 9:25 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a deer hunter within the city limits. 9:54 a.m., Schroeder: Truck and trailer in the ditch on the lake side of the highway near mile marker 74. 2:05 p.m., Lutsen: Possible theft of three saws and one brush cutter that were left in the trees at the end of the day on Lutsen Mountains. 3:03 p.m., Grand Marais: An unwanted intoxicated person was arrested for disorderly conduct at the American Legion. 5:51 p.m., Grand Marais: A deer was struck by a vehicle on County Road 7, and was lying injured in the middle of the road. 6:09 p.m., Grand Marais: An inmate damaged a cell at the county lock-up. 6:16 p.m., Grand Marais: Burglar alarm at the Trading Post. 6:52 p.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle was backed into at the Point. 9:32 p.m., Grand Marais: A silver fox was removed from the highway.

9:05 p.m., Grand Portage: Driver cited for speeding. 10:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested for a disturbance on West Fifth Street.

Sunday, Nov. 16

11:16 a.m., Tofte: Driver cited for speeding. 1:11 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a stolen radio from a vehicle. 5:07 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of hot-rodding. 5:38 p.m., Grand Marais: Man arrested on a Wisconsin warrant. 7:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller heard a gunshot near the water tower.

Monday, Nov. 17

5:52 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that a boat was stuck at the Twin Lakes boat landing. 11:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Motorist assist on the Gunflint Trail.

Tuesday, Nov. 18

7:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for no seat belt and warned for speeding in a school zone. 9:03 a.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for no proof of insurance.

Wednesday, Nov. 19

10:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Driver warned for exhibition driving. 5:25 p.m., Hovland: Deputy assisted State Patrol with a deer-car accident near Naniboujou Lodge. 6:03 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outages reported on Northwoods Loop and Sea Gull Lake Road. 9:35 p.m., Tofte: Man picked up and arrested on a Washington County warrant.

Thursday, Nov. 20

2:58 a.m., Grand Marais: Speeding citation issued. 11:05 a.m., Grand Marais: Cascade Lodge reported the theft of a carpet cleaner, but later found it. 4:28 p.m., Grand Marais: Possible child neglect investigation.

Friday, Nov. 21

8:38 a.m., Lutsen: Report of a fire in the main lodge sauna building at Lutsen Resort. 7:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outage on Old Shore Road. 11:05 p.m., Grand Portage: Speeding citation issued.

Saturday, Nov. 22

10:09 a.m., Schroeder: Fire in the oven at Temperance Landing. 10:32 a.m., Grand Portage: Unauthorized use of a truck reported. 11:11 a.m., Tofte: Driver cited for speeding. 12:13 p.m., Grand Marais: An injured black dog was walking around Aspen Lodge, limping and shaking. 3:53 p.m., Grand Marais: Driver cited for speeding. 6:17 p.m., Grand Portage: A vehicle was repo’ed on Eliza Road. 9:07 p.m., Hovland: Caller heard five gunshots near Big Bay.

Sunday, Nov. 23

7:25 a.m., Grand Marais: Report that County Road 8 is a sheet of ice. The Highway Department was notified. 11:45 a.m., Grand Marais: A wallet was found near the library. 11:51 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a vehicle with expired plates at Artist Point. 4:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller was concerned about hunters he saw near Birch Drive with a deer: time of day, caliber used and proximity to homes. 7:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Threats reported.
