1:11 a.m., Grand Portage: Deputy
checked on some passengers either
sleeping or passed out in a vehicle at the
C-Store.
6:14 a.m., Hovland: Power line down on
Tamarack Trail.
11:34 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller
expressed concern about possible
protests at a concert at the ACA
regarding crimes 40 years ago. The caller
said there were protests the previous
night in Duluth.
1:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Power outage
on North Pike Lake Road.
3:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious
activity reported in the Birchwood
Apartments parking lot.
10:36 p.m., Lutsen: Harassment and
trespassing reported. A guest would not
leave.
Sunday, April 27
2:21 a.m., Grand Marais: Carbon
monoxide alarm was beeping at a
residence.
9:21 a.m., Grand Marais: Lost driver’s
license reported.
7:41 p.m., Grand Marais: A dog named
“Gun” ran off from West Fourth Street.
9:00 p.m., Tofte: Deer struck by a vehicle
near the Forest Service building.
Monday, April 28
6:17 a.m., Lutsen: Report of a sinkhole
about a mile north of the Holly Lake
turnoff in the middle of the roadway.
8:03 a.m., Grand Marais: A disabled
vehicle was blocking the church parking
lot on Broadway.
10:50 a.m., Schroeder: Residential
burglar alarm.
12:03 p.m., Grand Marais: A yellow lab
was running around the clinic parking
lot.
12:53 p.m., Grand Portage: Damage
reported to a vehicle that was in the
lodge parking lot.
3:37 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of pieces
of roof flying off Bluewater.
7:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Loose dog on
Fourth Avenue East.

Tuesday, April 29
7:09 a.m., Grand Marais: Barking dog
complaint on Second Avenue West.
3:31 p.m., Grand Portage: Harassment
reported.
4:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Dumping
reported at Pike Lake Road-Cascade
River parking lot.
6:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Possible fraud
reported.

11:44 a.m., Grand Marais: A black-andwhite dog was running around First
Avenue West.
3:10 p.m., Grand Portage: Elevator alarm
at the national monument.
4:14 p.m., Grand Marais: Power surge
and outage.

12:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller
expressed concern for a homeless person.
4:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
loud buzzing alarm from a stainless steel
box.
Friday, May 2
1:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Theft reported.
5:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Domestic
argument.
5:49 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm.

7:07 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said the
culvert washed out and there is a pot
hole about 3 feet deep in the roadway at
County Road 6-Sobanja Lane.
6:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Cell phone
found and dropped off at the LEC.
11:17 p.m., Grand Marais: Motorist assist
near Bethlehem church.
Sunday, May 4
6:11 a.m., Grand Marais: False alarm at
the Border Patrol building.
5:06 p.m., Grand Marais: Harassing
phone calls reported.
7:24 p.m., Grand Portage: Report of a
neglected horse.
