Monday, Feb. 3
12:21 a.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious
activity. The caller said it sounds
like someone is banging on the door
downstairs.
10:03 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle theft
reported.
10:50 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said a
gun was missing from the box. He last
saw it about a year and a half ago.
1:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Assault
reported.
3:56 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he
was trying to check into the Harbor Inn,
and nobody has been around for a couple
of hours.
6:05 p.m., Grand Marais: Lift station
alarm on the highway. Public utilities
notified.

Tuesday, Feb. 4
8:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Harassment
reported.
9:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of an
abandoned vehicle on 10th Avenue West.
10:16 a.m., Hovland: Check fraud
investigation.
11:33 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller lost
a YMCA gym bag with pink and gray
tennis shoes in it sometime within the
past week.
8:32 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the
ditch at County Road 6-Devil Track
Road.
Wednesday, Feb. 5
12:49 a.m., Tofte: Power outage on
Sawbill Trail.

Thursday, Feb. 6
11:30 a.m., Grand Portage: Possible theft
by credit card at Ryden’s Border Store.
12:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Possible drug
overdose reported.
1:58 p.m., Grand Marais: Two huskies,
attached together by a leash, were
running around near Great Expectations
School.
2:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Dead deer in
the middle of the highway about a halfmile west of Thomsonite Beach.
4:14 p.m., Tofte: Fire alarm at Surfside
was set off by an employee who burned
food.
6:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle stuck in
the ditch near Grand Marais Motors.
9:53 p.m., Tofte: Vehicle in the ditch off
the Sawbill Trail.

Friday, Feb. 7
8:13 a.m., Tofte: Fire alarm at Bluefin.
9:30 a.m., Grand Marais: Theft of credit
card reported.
12:29 p.m., Tofte: False fire alarm at
North Shore Market.
2:29 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller wanted
information about electric scooters on
city streets.
3:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Two-vehicle
accident in Johnson’s Foods parking lot.
6:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Suspicious
person at Grand Marais Motors.
9:50 p.m., Tofte: Report of an abandoned
snowmobile parked at the snowmobile
trail entrance on Six Hundred Road.
Saturday, Feb. 8
8:21 a.m., Grand Marais: Motorist assist
at Holiday.

3:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller had
a female boxer that was picked up on
Linnell Road.
5:52 p.m., Grand Marais: Injured deer on
the shoulder of the highway just west of
Hall Road.
8:39 p.m., Grand Marais: Report that
the lights were on inside the old pool
building.
Sunday, Feb. 9
4:32 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a
strange vehicle parked at Holiday.
6:10 a.m., Tofte: The maintenance person
set off an alarm at Bluefin.
9:24 a.m., Lutsen: A young male yellow
Lab was picked up at the Onion River
wayside rest.
5:20 p.m., Schroeder: An injured deer
was on the highway near Lamb’s.
