the Schroeder Town Hall, with their lights turned off.
The caller thought it was suspicious that they were there
at 2 a.m.
7:24 a.m., Schroeder: Two little dogs escaped the back
of a truck somewhere along the Sawbill Trail and were
missing.
4:31 p.m., Grand Marais: False fire alarm at East Bay
Suites.
4:54 p.m., Grand Marais: Icy and slippery road
conditions reported on County Roads 6 and 7. Highway
Department notified.
10:22 p.m., Grand Marais: Loud noise complaint from
Birchwood Apartments.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
5:15 a.m., Grand Marais: False alarm at Arrowhead
Pharmacy.
10:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Vehicle in the ditch off the
Gunflint Trail.
10:44 a.m., Grand Marais: Tow needed for a car in the
ditch near Homestead Cooperative.
1:27 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller said he hit a bear in
October and did damage to his vehicle. Now he needs a
report for insurance purposes.
1:41 p.m., Grand Marais: Parking concerns when
plowing.
2:47 p.m., Grand Marais: Loud revving of engine
complaint.
9:28 p.m., Lutsen: Vehicle in the ditch across from
Lockport. A woman was walking on the roadway.
11:56 p.m., Grand Portage: Request for a deputy to
remove unwanted persons from a residence.
Wednesday, Dec. 4
6:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller said there was a pretty
good pile of sand (maybe a foot high) on County Road 7,
almost covering one lane of traffic.
8:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Caller was concerned about a
trailer that was left sitting on South Shore Drive, creating
a traffic hazard.
6:31 p.m., Grand Marais: Car in the ditch on County
Road 6.

10:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Traffic stop, warning given.

national monument.

11:27 a.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about hot-rodding
on County Road 6.

Sunday, Dec. 8
1:35 a.m., Grand Marais: Traffic stop, warning given.
1:42 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of slippery
intersections.
1:45 p.m., Grand Marais: Broken-down pick-up on
Broadway. Tow truck called.
9:00 p.m., Grand Marais: Prisoner disturbance at the jail.
An inmate was upset because he was not able to have a
visitor.
