Monday, Oct. 21
11:17 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of an abandoned car
sitting on Trout Lake Road in the wrong lane of traffic.
2:24 p.m., Grand Marais: reported theft of a fire alarm
from a vehicle.
Tuesday, Oct. 22
2:02 p.m., Grand Marais: Medical emergency on the street
near the liquor store.
7:01 p.m., Grand Marais: A little white dog was seen
running around in the street near the Violence Prevention
Center.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
3:44 p.m., Grand Marais: A car, possibly driven by a
teenager, just drove through the crossing guard flags at the
school.
6:17 p.m., Hovland: An injured deer was discovered off
the highway near a power pole.
Thursday, Oct. 24
5:38 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of ice on the highway
from Kimball Creek into Grand Marais.
9:04 a.m., Grand Portage: A guest left a firearm in a room.
4:33 p.m., Grand Marais: Erratic driver reported, going off
the road numerous times between Cascade and Lutsen.
Friday, Oct. 25
1:07 p.m., Schroeder: Possible chimney fire on
Fradenburg Drive.
3:25 p.m., Grand Marais: A caller wanted to know if there
are any open moose seasons? There were three dead
moose on trailers southbound near Cutface Creek.
5:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller expressed concern about
smoke coming from a Forest Service burn on South
Shore-Meridian Drive. There were some trucks on the
way.
7:35 p.m., Grand Marais: Unknown medical problem at
Sven’s.
Saturday, Oct. 26
12:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Domestic altercation.
4:08 a.m., Lutsen: Caller said her boyfriend was
electrocuted at Sea Villas.
11:43 a.m., Grand Marais: Vandalism to a parked vehicle
(broken windshield) at the hiking trail parking lot near
Bally Creek Road.
5:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Fire in the trees reported off
County Road 7.
6:57 p.m., Grand Marais: Injured deer on the highway at
mile marker 112.
Sunday, Oct. 27
12:22 a.m., Grand Marais: Assault at Birch Terrace. The
caller said someone just got hit.
6:17 a.m., Grand Portage: Caller said she heard something
or someone bang into the side exterior door.
8:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Lost dog reported on Fall River
Road.
11:54 a.m., Grand Portage: Suspicious vehicle at the
marina.
1:40 p.m., Lutsen: Suspicious activity at the Sea Villas. A
citation was given to the driver.
