Monday, Nov. 26
2:32 a.m., Grand Marais: Alarm activated at Harbor View
Apartments.
12:21 p.m., Grand Marais: Lost wallet reported somewhere
near the pharmacy.
12:30 p.m., Grand Marais: Break-in and theft reported.
5:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Complaint about a loose dog.
Tuesday, Nov. 27
12:34 p.m., Grand Marais: Theft of traps reported.
1:06 p.m., Grand Marais: The owner of a shed that was on fire
said it was okay. He was just burning it down.
6:08 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a vehicle at mile
marker 117.
10:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Ongoing threats reported.
Wednesday, Nov. 28
6:29 p.m., Grand Portage: Alarm activated at the health clinic.
8:44 p.m., Grand Portage: Suspicious vehicle reported at
Human Services.
Thursday, Nov. 29
3:15 a.m., Grand Marais: Domestic altercation reported.
8:17 a.m., Grand Marais: Lockdown drill at the courthouse.
9:16 a.m., Grand Marais: A vehicle struck a tree near Five
Mile Rock.
10:01 a.m., Grand Marais: Someone ordered a to-go order
from Cascade Lodge, trying to disguise their voice, and
never came to pick it up. The call was traced to an employee’s
residence. Caller wanted to know if a deputy could go take
care of it and if not, why?
3:13 p.m., Grand Marais: Anonymous caller reported drug
use.
6:26 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller expressed concern about
a couple who were having vehicle problems and perhaps
stranded near Grand Marais.
6:42 p.m., Tofte: Report of an injured wolf in the ditch.
9:48 p.m., Grand Marais: Grand Marais man arrested for
burglary.
Friday, Nov. 30
2:22 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of a vehicle in the ditch near
the water tower with kids trying to get out.
7:50 a.m., Lutsen: Fender-bender on the highway in front of
Clearview. No injuries reported.
11:55 a.m., Grand Marais: Phone scam reported.
7:18 p.m., Grand Marais: Canadian driver cited for an
equipment violation (broken speedometer).
7:55 p.m., Grand Marais: Report of loud vehicles tearing up
the Rec Park.
11:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Deputy requested at Birchwood
Apartments due to a man who was fighting with everyone.
Saturday, Dec. 1
4:44 p.m., Grand Marais: Grand Marais woman cited for
driving after suspension, no proof of insurance and loud
exhaust.
5:43 p.m., Grand Marais: Deer struck by a vehicle at mile
marker 108.
6:48 p.m., Lutsen: Caller said the Highway Department
dropped a pile of sand about an eighth of a mile up the
Caribou, and vehicles have to drive around it. It is a hazard.
9:03 p.m., Grand Marais: Theft of computer equipment
reported.
Sunday, Dec. 2
9:26 a.m., Schroeder: Thunder Bay man cited for speeding.
10:17 a.m., Lutsen: Ambulance called to the ski hill for a
16-year-old woman with a dislocated shoulder.
1:50 p.m., Grand Marais: Money was found on the sidewalk,
and turned in to the Law Enforcement Center.
1:58 p.m., Grand Portage: Property damage and possibly theft
reported.
7:30 p.m., Tofte: A residential fire alarm was set off by smoke
from the fireplace.
