8:00 p.m., Grand Marais: A Las Vegas man, 34, was arrested for third-degree driving under the influence after he was seen stumbling out of his boat, getting into a truck and attempting to back the trailer down the ramp several times, nearly taking out the dock in the process. The incident took place at the Rec Park marina.

10:57 a.m., Grand Marais: Report that a 21-speed specialized men’s bicycle went missing sometime around Fisherman’s Picnic in the downtown area.
12:10 p.m., Grand Marais: A large bill was found on a downtown sidewalk. The finder is holding it in case someone reports losing it.
12:12 p.m., Grand Marais: The Rec Park reported that some locals jimmied the gate off its hinges near the sliding hill and had a party out on Sweetheart’s Bluff. The fire pit was filled with litter and a backpack was left behind which contained a halfbottle of Windsor, possibly some marijuana, and a female’s ID.
1:33 p.m., Grand Marais: A deputy was requested at the Rec Park for a small fender-bender. Each driver claimed the other was at fault.

10:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Bear-hunting accident reported. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the elbow, and was lifeflighted from the hospital.
