8:41 a.m., Grand Marais: Deer
struck and killed near Five Mile
Rock.
10:49 a.m., Grand Marais: Ely
woman cited for no proof of
insurance.
4:04 p.m., Grand Marais: Elk
River man cited for no proof of
insurance.
5:15 p.m., Lutsen: Telephone fraud
investigation.
Tuesday, April 10
3:02 a.m., Grand Marais: Deputy
responded to sounds of a screech
and crash at Third Avenue West
and West First Street. A white car
hit the embankment.
5:47 p.m., Grand Portage: Reckless
driving incident investigated.
Wednesday, April 11
12:09 p.m., Grand Marais: Physical
abuse reported.
1:51 p.m., Grand Marais: The Art
Colony reported a run-in with
a person due to an artist doing
controversial art (nude female
stuff), and asked that a deputy
check the area.
3:46 p.m., Hovland: Suicide threat.
5:55 p.m., Hovland: Carbon
monoxide poisoning investigation.
6:51 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller
said someone sold a vehicle
in violation of an order for
protection.
Thursday, April 12
3:02 p.m., Schroeder: Vehicle off
the road and into the ditch near
Temperance River State Park.
3:14 p.m., Grand Marais:
Unwanted phone calls reported.
The caller wanted to know how to
stop them.
6:37 p.m., Grand Marais: Injured
falcon reported.
Friday, April 13
1:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller
reported her son as a runaway.
2:28 p.m., Grand Marais: Thunder
Bay woman cited for speeding.
6:45 p.m., Grand Portage: Drunk
driver at the port of entry.

Saturday, April 14
2:24 a.m., Grand Marais:
Complaint about a loud party next
door.
8:25 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of
a red ATV in the ditch off County
Road 14, with no license and no
one around.
9:13 a.m., Grand Marais: Report of
a missing yellow lab in the area of
West Second Street.
9:29 a.m., Grand Marais: Report
that someone hit the building at
Birch Terrace last night.
10:47 a.m., Grand Marais: A beer
box containing a bunch of female’s
belongings was found outside the
Bluewater Café.
1:10 p.m., Grand Marais: Caller
found five cans of beer on the
stoop, and thought it might be
related to the box of female’s
belongings found earlier in the
day. She put the beer in the fridge
in case the deputy wanted to come
and get it.
1:12 p.m., Grand Portage: Report
of a 10-year-old boy walking
around outside the Community
Center with a BB gun, and
also reports of different people
drinking in their vehicles.
1:15 p.m., Grand Marais: A camera
was found at Lake Superior
Trading Post.
Sunday, April 15
3:59 a.m., Grand Marais: Report
of a missing person on Trout Lake
Road gravel pit, last seen in the
gravel.
4:29 a.m., Grand Marais: Report
of vehicles racing or revving their
engines at the County Road 6-7
intersection.
9:28 a.m., Grand Marais: The
stop sign was down at the bottom
of County Road 58. Highway
Department notified.
4:07 p.m., Grand Marais:
Anonymous call reporting that a
female was bringing narcotics into
Grand Portage.
4:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Thunder
Bay woman cited for speeding.
11:59 p.m., Grand Marais: Power
outage reported on Fourth Avenue
West.
