What is a Class A Commercial Driver’s License?
Class A: any vehicle towing a unit of more than 10,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) with a gross combination weight rating (truck plus trailer) over 26,000 pounds.
What is a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Bus Endorsement?
Class B Bus Endorsement licensed drivers can drive a passenger bus. The skill test must be passed in a bus with a GVWR greater than 26,000 pounds and a passenger capacity of more than 15, including the driver. Get an important skill and a job with ISD 166 as a fulltime or part-time or substitute bus driver!
Basic qualifications
• Age 18 +
• Lives in Cook County, MN
• High school diploma or GED
• Legal to work in the United States
• Proficient math and reading skills
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Ability to pass a 5-panel Drug Testing
• Commit to meeting all obligations of this training.
• Commit to completing all required paperwork and follow-up
• Can meet IRRR requirements
