The February 1 Cook County GOP Caucus will not be held at the HUB (senor center) as planned but instead has been moved to the Cook County Higher Education building. The meeting will be held in room 214, the large upstairs classroom.
Cook County Higher Education is located at 300 West Third Street in Grand Marais.
The Cook County GOP convention will also be held in the same room on March 8.
Registration for each night begins at 6 p.m.
Masks are required.
Cook County GOP Chair Trent Spry will not be able to attend the February 1 caucus.
In an email Spry announced, “I will unfortunately not be at the caucus, the 148th is going on a pre-deployment training mission for the next three weeks down south and I am going with. Hopefully I am back for the convention and will make time for that. I will also be deploying this spring to the Middle East and won’t be back until mid-July.”
