Paisley Smith (11) fires off a pass to Rhonnie Poyirier (42) in the girls’ recent home game against the highly rated Cromwell Cardinal team. A former Cromwell player now living in Grand Marais said most of the Cromwell girls have baskets hung in their parents’ barns and practice basketball year round. From the looks of the way the Cardinals played, that would seem to be true.
