Cook County Gets Into The Holiday Spirit













The Lake Superior Trading Post was the scene of a“flash mob”Cook County style on Saturday, November 30. Members of the Borealis Chorale began filtering into the store shortly before 11 a.m. Once in place, singers and musicians offered an exquisite rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. After the impromptu performance and applause from the delighted audience, the participants quietly went their separate ways.

After the Cook County Chamber Christmas Parade on Friday, November 29, kids of all ages got to visit with Santa Claus and his sled dogs at Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply. Little Rio had fun trying to get his brother Nico to smile while sitting with Santa.
