As of March 24, Cook County had received five new cases of COVID-19 in the previous seven days.
That brought the count to 829 since the start of the pandemic.
To date four deaths have been attributed to COVID-19.
Cook County Public Health will host a Pop-Up COVID-19 testing event on April 7 from noon to 5 p.m. inside the Cook County Community Center which is located at 317 W. 5th St. Grand Marais.
If you attend the Pop-Up clinic, a rapid antigen test will be available (to take home and use at your convenience). Rapid molecular tests and PCR tests (saliva-based) are also available. Tests are free (while supplies last), and all community members are welcome. A parent or guardian should accompany those under 18 years of age.
COVID-19 vaccines are now available at the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic. To make an appointment call 218-387-2330.
So far 3,257 folks in the county are up to date on their COVID-19 vaccinations.
