Although the Cook County News-Herald knows that the majority of sportsmen and women are law-abiding folks, there are a few that run afoul of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Conservation Officers. Periodically, the DNR provides a report of some of the miscreants the Conservation Officers (CO) have encountered. The News-Herald shares these stories as a reminder to all to be safe and to follow the rules!
No CO Tales
While the conservation officers have been pulled back into the field after assisting their fellow officers who were assigned to quell the riots in the Twin Cities, they haven’t had time to gather CO tales. That will happen next week.
The announcement that there would be no CO tales for a second week in a row came from The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Communications coordinator/Division of Enforcement, Joe Albert.
Albert’s admitted that not having CO tales was very uncommon. This is a favorite column of many Cook County News-Herald readers, and we are guessing, of newspaper readers across the state.
