Cook County gardeners are invited to the annual “Squash-a-Thon & Condiment Fiesta” at the Cook County Community Center at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16.
Joan Farnam, local gardener and co-host of the WTIP radio program Northern Gardening, issued an invitation this week. “Bring a squash dish to share (or anything you want, really) and a favorite condiment to share. We’ll enjoy it all,” she said.
“Conversations about gardening guaranteed!” added Farnam.
