It’s a time of year for reflecting on our gifts, our blessings, the good stuff in life. One thing I’m thankful for is the Borealis Chorale and Orchestra.
As I looked around at all the faces at rehearsal the other night it occurred to me again what a wonderful thing we have here. We may not be the best musical group to ever perform but there are moments of true brilliance and a certain indefinable heart to the music and the group as a whole.
We are old and young, conservative and liberal, poor and rich, Christian and Pagan. Everyone is welcome. Everyone has his or her part. We make mistakes but we move on. It all gets better if we work together.
Hmmm….sounds good doesn’t it?
