Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and the Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their
Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the
third Tuesday of each month, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. First
come, first served. The cost is $10 for either location. Bring
your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet. West
End Outreach Blood Pressure Screening will be available
when Birch Grove Clinic is open for patient care. Please call

What is strength-based parenting?
Join Charlie Appelstein for a free 2-hour workshop at the
Arrowhead Center for the Arts Auditorium at Cook County
I.S.D. #166 on Wednesday, April 13 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. He
teaches us how to raise kids from the inside out, addresses
self-esteem building, key verbal skills and strategies for
parents to keep their cool! Charlie is the author of ‘No Such
Thing As a Bad Kid’ and he has been described as the best
youth care trainer in America. No pre-registration, just come

A free all day workshop on the value of using a positive,
strength-based approach with at-risk children & youth.
This includes a free lunch and CEUs for teachers and other
