Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and the Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services offer Foot
Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third
Tuesday of each month, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. First come,
first served. The cost is $10 for either location. Bring your own
soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet. West End Outreach
Blood Pressure Screening will be available when Birch Grove
Clinic is open for patient care. Please call Sawtooth Mountain
Clinic for scheduled hours 387-2330.

Cook County Higher Education North Shore Campus
Career training and college courses are available in Cook
County. Visit our campus at the corner of 3rd Street and 3rd
Ave West in Grand Marais. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday, with evenings by appointment.

Cook County Snowmobile Club Events Schedule
Saturday, February 5 – Fun Run. Start from Devil Track
General Store at 10 a.m. for first card, then to Trail Center,
Windigo, and Hungry Jack. Have lunch where you choose
and get last card at The Landing by 5 p.m. Casino night at The
Landing with card games, food and drink specials, prizes and
entertainment. Money raised goes to the Club! • Rider’s
Choice Sunday, February 6 – Rider’s Choice. Leave Devil Track
General Store at 10 a.m. • Grand Portage Lodge • Saturday
& Sunday February 12-13 Overnight ride to Grand Portage
Lodge. Leave Devil Track General Store at 9 a.m.

Northwoods Food Project
Winter Foods Community Potluck
Join local gardeners at the Cook County Community Center
on Friday, February 11 from 6-8 p.m. for a potluck, live music
and seed exchange. Bring a dish to share, extra seeds and a
recipe for the local Northwoods Food Project cookbook. For

Level 1 Spring Forest Qigong Class on February 12
Linda Vanden Brook, Certified SFQ Instructor and Licensed
Family Therapist, will teach easy to learn methods of
increasing self-awareness, building internal energy and
developing a healthy mind, body and spirit through the
ancient practices of Qigong. Class is held at the Sawtooth
Mountain Clinic-Lower Level. The fee is $115.00 if registered
by 2/7/11 or $125 for late registration. Late registration is
at 8:30 a.m. The class begins at 9:00 sharp and ends at 4:00
