Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner Come eat with us. Gather as neighbors so that strangers might become friends. Join us around the tables so that we can build up our community with love and kindness. Celebrate and give thanks at the Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at First Congregational Church. Dinner will be served family style at 1:00 p.m., on Thanksgiving Day. The church is located at the corner of Third Avenue West and Second Street. There is no charge for this traditional meal. Call the church at 387-2113 for special considerations about home-delivered/take-out meals/rides to the dinner.

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.
Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on Tuesday, December 4 at the Cook County Whole Foods Co-op from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Cook County Senior Center from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
